Artillery Blanket (60″ x 72″)

Our Artillery Blanket is one of our oldest designs, dating back over 150 years, and it celebrates our long history of enabling life in the outdoors.

Crafted from a wool-blend, this piece takes advantage of wool’s natural ability to regulate temperature. The result is a blanket that’s both beautiful and irresistibly cozy. Featuring navy border stripes on a striking red background, this is a replica of a blanket produced for Union troops during the American Civil War and was made in the USA.

It’s just what I needed for my new leather chair. Something warm and bold red.

We placed this wool blanket at the foot of the bed, in between the sheet and comforter. Our feet are much warmer! You can really feel the insulation the blanket provides and where it stops as this only covers the lower portion of the bed.

Pleasantly not thick and ichy. Warm, comfortable , lightweight but rugged. Better than expected.

I bought this blanket to use at the Manassas,Va Battlefield parks 150th anniversary for a living history program at the Henry House . It is a very warm and comfortable blanket and very well made. I highly recommend this and the other blankets in the civil war collection if you want a very nice and warm blanket.
