This coat originated in the 1800's and is still as popular today. The rugged wool-blend shell wards off the fiercest weather. It's not only warm, but it sheds water, and the tight weave keeps out bone-chilling wind. Two-piece sleeve for a roomier fit; knit storm cuffs in sleeves. Four outer snap pockets, plus hand-warmer pockets and internal security pocket. Back stowage pocket originally designed to put game in. Under-collar tab keeps collar up to hold out cold and breezes. Fully lined body and sleeves. Button front covered by storm flap. 80% wool/20% nylon. Imported. Machine wash.

Shell: 80% wool/20% nylon, 18.5 oz
Liner: 60% cotton/40% polyester brushed twill
Machine wash or dry clean
Two-piece sleeve construction
Oversized chin-warmer collar w/under-collar tab to keep collar up
Inside sleeve knit storm cuffs
Four outer snap pockets, inside stowage pocket
Hand-warmer pockets
Back stowage pocket
Button front close w/storm flap

I recently visited my brother in Santa Fe and he had one of these coats and I wore it almost everyday. When I got home to Nashville I went on a quest to find one for myself. I love this coat. It's warm and roomy. It's a great coat. The only complaint I have is the snaps on one of the pockets broke right away.

I bought this coat for deer hunting in Pa. It is very warm and fits perfectly. I am a little disappointed it is not made in Pa anymore but it seems very well made. Nothing but good things to say about it. Also own a Tailgating Jacket again a perfect product.

I ordered a XL and was way too big, usually not a problem for me. I returned it for a L but I fear it is going to be too short. You really should offer TALL sizes in more products. It is the #1 thing preventing me from buying more Woolrich products.

Previous Woolrich coat had snap fasteners. My husband loved that coat! I thought he would like this one too but unfortunately he did not. He hated the buttons-they were hard to button and just not as convenient as snap fasteners. I will be returning the coat and watching for future coats in the hopes that they may come with snaps rather than buttons or zippers.

Bought the Classic Mens Field Coat in the green for my husband for Christmas.I was hoping this was the perfect coat for a casual day out on the town.The color is nice but the XL size is a very wide cut ,too wide for my husband and the collars style is big and awkward looking.

Weight of the jacket was on the front of the shoulders making it very uncomfortable. I was constantly tugging at it to reseat it, tho it didn't work. I wear a large, but this large was too big. It has been returned.
