Our Legacy, Your Story
Ramar Cloth: an iconic fabric, a shared heritage
There are garments that become more than something to wear. They enter our lives, move with us, and weave themselves into memory. A piece of outerwear that stands the test of time turns into a trusted companion, a witness to everyday gestures, a symbol of bonds that grow stronger as the years go by. This is how our legacy takes shape: in the silhouettes we design and in the stories of those who make them their own. This exclusive women's capsule was created in this spirit, built around Ramar Cloth, our iconic fabric that, like the most authentic connections, has been passed down from one generation to the next.
We invited a group of women to wear these pieces and share what clothing means to them. What emerged are words about identity, protection, shared memories, and relationships that endure over time. Discover their stories: fragments of real life that remind us that our story has always been yours, too.
For Alyssa, clothing is an extension of her mood, a silent language that shows who she is in that moment. Her strongest bond is with her mother, with whom she shares taste and afternoons of shopping. Trying on clothes, exchanging pieces, giving each other advice: every gesture becomes complicity. Wearing something that once belonged to her mother makes her feel closer, as if she were carrying part of their shared history.
Choosing what to wear is, for Caroline, a way to imagine a character and narrate her day. Yet her deepest connection is sensory: the scent of laundry done by her mother, the crisp smell of a shirt from the dry cleaner that recalls adulthood, the familiar fragrance of her partner’s T-shirt that feels like home. Each piece becomes an olfactory memory, capable of holding on to emotions and bringing them back.
Getting dressed is never just about aesthetics. For Marta, it is a gesture that expresses emotions, life stages, or the desire for change. She sees it as an act of openness, a way of saying who she is or who she is becoming. In her memories there is her mother fastening her coat when she was a child: a simple gesture filled with sweetness and security. It taught her that clothes are never just fabric or shape, but containers of affection and memory.
Sharing everything has always been part of Emma and Matilde’s life as twins, including their wardrobe. Some pieces begin with one of them and soon belong to both, until they no longer have a single owner. In clothing they find reassurance and identity, but above all the reflection of memories lived together. Wearing those pieces brings them even closer, carrying not just fabric but also a part of each other.

Born in the 1970s, Ramar Cloth is one of Woolrich’s most iconic fabrics. Originally created to withstand extreme conditions, it first lined our Arctic Parka. Its special cotton and nylon blend makes it water-repellent and resistant to wind while retaining a natural, comfortable feel. Today it remains a symbol of our tradition: simple, robust, and enduring. It continues to merge performance with style, bridging our heritage and the future.
Behind the lens
CRISTINA SINELLI
For Cristina, authenticity lies in the balance between construction and spontaneity. It is not about formal perfection but about capturing a detail, a gesture, a glance that moves you and stays with you. In her work she seeks out small, unique moments where delicacy and truth meet. Her sensitivity comes through in the way she notices gestures and in her search for what feels real and enduring.
