    Great jacket for chilly weather

I purchased this online after speaking at length with a really helpful store sales person in Boston by phone because Woolrich's customer service rep wasn't able to answer my questions. I live in the Midwest where it gets COLD for the winter and have been looking for a cute/stylish, warm, but not super heavy coat to wear casually during the day. This coat has been great - the store rep told me that it would be too cold for anything under 30's, but I wore it for the first time on a cold night when I had to walk several blocks and the rabbit fur trim was SO toasty warm - the fact that it goes right down the center is perfect designing because that's where the cold comes in (the beck, shoulders, and through the zipper) typically and yet I was perfectly warm that night. Had the coat been fully lined with fur, I probably would have been too hot! When I got home and checked the temp, it was 12 degrees (F)! I run cold and think this will be a great winter coat for almost all winter weather unless we have another polar vortex. The styling is cute - not too bulky and cut straighter than most bulky coats like the Canada Goose jackets, and tasteful without a giant logo patch. It would have been great to get it a teeny bit slimmer in cut. An XS is a bit loose and I usually wear XS or S. The only thing I was disappointed in was around styling: the photo showed the back had a fishtail/was longer, which I think is a design detail that actually matters in making the coat look cuter, but my coat doesn't appear to be any longer in the back than in the front. A disappointment, and I'd give it 5 stars if it weren't for that detail missing. The quality seems to far to be really good - great material, really soft fur, and the pockets are higher, which helps to lessen the marshmallow puffer coat look. All in all, I love this coat and would highly recommend it. I've been looking for a coat like this for at least two years and am glad I made the decision to purchase this

Feels great! Love how big the hood is. Perfect for cold Texas weather. Not sure this would be a Michigan coat but definitely perfect mid-mild winters.
