    LOVE this coat!!!

I live in the frozen wastes of Minnesota, and have just moved up from Iowa. My family got this as a Christmas gift knowing how brutally cold it gets up here, and I can't thank them enough. This morning was -10 degrees, and I was toasty warm in this coat. It fits perfectly, is a truly quality product, and seems to be durable as all get-out. The multiple large pockets are easily accessible while wearing gloves/mittens, the hood is well lined, and the buttons keep the neck closed. I'm loving this!

    Very Satisfied

This parka is surprisingly light weight for how warm it is. I am 5'10 and the Large size fit just right. The positioning of the ""hand warmer"" pockets is a little awkward as they are sort of high up on the jacket and putting your hands in them is an unnatural position. I basically just use them to store my gloves or wallet/cell phone. Overall I am very happy and warm wearing this parka!

Quality parka, but take note of the sizing.

This Parka arrived promptly and in good condition. It was a purchase for my burly husband (he's 6'3"", 250ish lbs) and I ordered an XXL, as this is typically his size in just about everything. I recall clicking the ""See Fit and Size Chart"" link, however the link must be broken, since clicking on it only took me down the page to see product reviews. I've ordered other items from Woolrich that were not John Rich & Bros., and XXL worked fine for him, so I took the plunge and ordered. Sadly, this was nowhere near an XXL that we are used to, so I had to send this back. The arms were short, it was tight across the chest and shoulders. Overall though, the parka (ordered in Phantom) was lightweight but very well insulated and snug without being overly constricting. If it fit properly, my husband would have kept it, so I recommend digging around the site to find the John Rich & Bros. size chart, and note that you will likely need to size up if you are familiar with the sizing of other Woolrich products. I'm now noticing that the only Men's Parka options are JRB and they max out at XXL, so we'll have to take our Parka search to a different brand.

Outstanding warmth/comfort/style but lacks side pockets.

It would've been great to have additional side pockets - designed behind the lower patch pockets - to keep the hands warm. That would've also been more comfortable than relying only on the upper hand warmer pockets. Other than that, love everything about this parka.

    Superior Material. Stylish and Understated.

In the Northeast, this has become my daily coat. Two neat layers underneath are all that are needed for below freezing temperatures. The pockets are lined and warm my hands up to a sweat. The hood is puffy, full of down, very comfortable, and does not ridiculously obstruct my peripheral vision. The tough exterior is stain-resistant and doesn't mind brushing up against things. Water-resistant. Looks great and without pomp.
