Amazing coat, just one minor issue...

Great parka, super warm for the Chicago Winters. However, the only minor issue I have is that there is a small ""bald spot"" in the fur hood...

It recently got very Cold in New York. And this coat stood the test as always. I've worn Woolrich Coats since the 80s. As far as I'm concerned there is no other..

Always warm even in severe cold temperatures. Could not live without this coat. Never afraid of enjoying outdoors with this coat. Has lasted for years. 20+ years and as good as new! Thankful there are still quality made products out there.

i wish i had invested in a woolwich from the 1980s ..a old friend use to swear by woolwich during the 80s .. i see what he meant all those yrs... and i like the fact that this brand of coats does not have all that logo stuff and advertisement all over its garment like some can wear this coat with anything..dressed down .. casual...chic...whatever ..nicely made also..

    I love my Woolrich!!!!

I spent a lot of time looking around and trying to decide what winter coat to get. Living in NYC, the streets are flooded with Canada Goose and Moncler. I wanted a parka who's high-quality stood up to other brands, but who's look was different. I love my Woolrich and would take it over any other parka on the market.

    Essential Equipment

    Posted on Dec 31st 2017

Unpaid/unsponsored review here. This is essential gear for frigid weather. This parka (in dark navy) has been my primary outer layer for many years and it still looks new. As expected, the parka performed well for me over the Holidays at home in Omaha (where it was -6 degrees) and in Minneapolis (-14 degrees). I'll be taking it to Alaska in February. My favorite aspect of this item is the fur ruff - it doesn't freeze. My dogs are suspicious of it though!

Beautiful parka, incredibly warm, excellent design

I can only imagine that the people complaining that this jacket isn't warm enough are walking outside into winter weather completely naked except for their Arctic Parkas and are still pretending to be cold to assuage some perverse need to feel better than everyone else. As a native Californian presently living in Boston, I am a complete wuss when it comes to winter weather. This parka is the warmest piece of clothing I've ever owned. It is so warm that I can wear it over a t-shirt and jeans over the weekend and walk a mile to the store with no concerns of feeling cold. The little details make the jacket incredibly pleasant to wear -- large inner pockets, the fur lined hood (which covers my ears when down), the fleece-lined pockets.
