When I purchase a robe I use it for years. Since I just received this, too soon to tell how well it will wear. I do love the colors, the style, the look; it's just not as heavy as I was hoping it would be. There does seem to be more bulk than weight. That said, I do like it and intend to keep it. However, I paid full price for the robe, and reading some of the other reviews it does look like this goes on sale at times. I needed one now and I liked this one, so I went ahead and purchased it. If I had paid half of what I did, maybe I wouldn't have expected so much. It's overpriced.

Delivery GREAT! I do live in Pa. so I guess that helped super speedy delivery in the middle of 'Sandy' .... but, impressive nonetheless!
I got an ex large - which is really - according to the tag on the robe - large/extra large. I'm 5'5 , 130lbs and I Love the way the robe falls @ my ankles & encompasses me ! Toasty, cozy, will be great for cold early mornings hanging out with the pets in the yard,. It's shedding a little & there were a few stray threads to be knotted off & snipped - otherwise Beautiful!! Pricey - yes, but if it lasts as long as my former robe - worth it. Haven't washed it yet, but I'm confident it'll be great!! Want to get another now for my hubby as soon as color & size comes back in stock - hope it's in time for the holidays!! THANKS AGAIN WOOLRICH!!

I bought this robe as a gift for my wife, who had an old tattered robe that she loved. Buying clothing for my wife is no easy job, but the moment she put it on, she smiled and turned her old robe into a bed blanket for our pets. She wears this Woolrich robe every morning while she drinks coffee and readies herself for work. The robe looks great on her...not too bulky, but very warm on cold mornings when the fireplace needs starting to warm up the kitchen and front room. This gift was a hit with my wife, and worth the expense.

I got this robe to replace an old favorite that finally wore out, but I actually like the color and plush fabric of this one better. On chilly mornings when I'd rather stay under the covers, it's nice to have something warm to throw on. My only complaints are that it's a few inches longer than I'd like, and the pockets are like an afterthought - they're a thin knit fabric, stitched into the side seams. Front patch pockets would be much better.

I was really looking forward to this robe and was so disappointed when I put it on and discovered how scratchy it was against my skin. I remember that one other commenter said the same thing but I ignored it. Oh well; live and learn. This robe may work for someone who wears long-sleeved pajamas underneath but certainly not for wearing right out of the shower on bare skin! I had to return it. :(

This robe is absolutely wonderful! It fits well, is soft, and is of excellent quality. It is great to wear in cooler weather but would probably be a bit warm for the summer. I'm really glad I purchased it and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to a friend.

I live in So Fl but this did not stop me from buying this beautiful robe. I first purchased it in Taupe and yes I am back to buy another in Olive. This robe is so soft and comfy. It is very warm so if I only am able to wear them a few times each I will be very happy. These are worth the off sale price so being able to get these on sale is wonderful!

For several years I've been trying to replace a long chenille robe but to no avail--until I ordered yours. It's fleece interior, warm fabric, inner and outer ties, length and lovely pattern are perfect for me, day and night. Bravo to Woolrich!

Recently, I purchased the taupe heather for myself...I love this robe...excellent quality...extremely comfortable...washes perfectly! I am a size 8-10 and the S/M fits me just right.
I own this robe and the long ruby fleece robe that Woolrich makes...HIGHLY recommend either robe.

My last Woolrich robe lasted 10 years and I hated to part with it. However, it had lots of threadbare spots and I definitely got my money's worth!!! These robes are a bit pricey for me, which is why I've held off buying a new one. For some unknown reason I checked out the website and was thrilled that it had gone on clearance. I really like the color choices and am very pleased with this purchase. You'll hear back from me in another 10! Thank you for a great product and great service.

This robe is nice and cozy, but a little bulky. I'm 5'6" and the S/M robe size reaches down to my ankles, so it's pretty long, but not uncomfortably so. The only real thing I was a little disappointed with was that the color seems much darker than what it looked like online (I ordered the taupe heather and it seems more like charcoal gray and hunter green). But it will definitely keep me warm this winter!

I ordered 1 for me and 1 as a gift. Liked it so much I ordered another in Barn Red. The only thing I can say is the pictures don't do this robe justice. It is warm, cozy and great colors.

I love to lounge in this robe or put it on in the cold mornings. It is so warm and cozy! It is very heavy and made very well. I do not agree with other comments that it is scratchy, as I wear it with no PJs underneath with no problem. I haven't washed it yet, so I do not know if it stays true to size after washing and drying.
The only negative comment I have is that I wish the sleeves were a tad longer. I am 5'8" - 148 lbs and got the large/extra large. My arms are long and I find myself having to unroll the sleeves to make them long enough. Otherwise the robe is perfect.

Perfect robe for Vermont. I put it on after work with my pajamas...it's so enveloping and cozy. Fit is just generous enough for a robe, but not sloppy. I got the S/M and I'm 5'7", 120 lbs.
