Our Hudson's Bay Point Blankets retain the authentic 100% wool quality that has made these blankets legendary. Like those sold in the 18th century, today's blankets are made in England with wool blended from sources in England, Wales, New Zealand, and India. Each type of wool is selected for qualities that help create a water-resistant, soft, warm, and strong final product. The wool is dyed before it is spun and then air- and sun-dried to brighten the colors. This blanket warms the interior of any home. It will keep you and your guests warm on the coldest nights, just as they've kept generations of trappers, hunters, fur traders, and Native Americans warm and comfortable. 100% wool. Imported. I bought the 6 point Queen Hudson Bay blanket and could not believe my eyes when I received it. It is absolutely beautiful in every way. I have never seen this quality before. The wool is lush, lightweight, soft, NO SCRATCH, and it is always, always, always, just the right temperature no matter what. Never too hot, never too cold, I feel like I am blessed to be so lucky as to be able to buy this. My husband and I are equally comfortable; he runs cold and I run hot, but this blanket works for both of us. I wish I could've gotten this 40 years ago. Better late than never.

I've wanted this blanket for years but could never justify the price. I recently decided to forgoe a new comforter set in favor of this blanket and I'm so glad I did! The blanket is warm and so very soft. I do not need an additional comforter or blanket and the wool breaths so that no one is kicking covers off at night. I expect this to be a 3-4 season blanket. My recommendation is to forget about price and focus on the quality and comfort. Go for it!

My very old 4 point multi has red, yellow, green and BLACK stripes. My new 6 point has a dark blue instead of the black stripe. Also all the new blanket's stripes are generally a little less vivid compared to my 40 year old blanket (bought deep in upper Canada @1960). I'm just glad to still get one.

Hudson bay blankets were a family tradition on both sides.
I've inherited several and given several but in smaller sizes.
I ordered the 8point chiefs blanket for myself thinking bigger would be better, well it's great but could have maybe done better with the 6point on my queen bed. My fault, overkill, I still wouldn't return it if asked.
The quality is the same as the blankets my grandfathers bought!

I had a Hudson Bay blanket 50 + years ago in Maine as a kid at summer camp. I still have it.
Got another for the queen bed and plan on keeping it forever!
