The throw is beautiful & warm, but I misread the description. I thought it was washable wool! It's so nice that I'm keeping it & will use it with care so it won't need dry cleaning.

This is the warmest blanket we have owned for everyday use. We have previously purchased 3 Woolrich wool blankets many years ago, but the blankets did not have the fur lining! We currently own 2 of these blankets and will now purchase a 3rd. Outstanding quality and unsurpassed warmth. If you want to be warm during cold winter days/nights, this blanket is the answer. I strongly recommend this blanket.

I bought my wife and me a couple of these last Christmas and it's her favorite gift. She absolutely loved it and it's one of her alltime favorite gifts. I gave this throw to my daughter and son-in-law for an early Christmas present. They live in a cold climate and try to keep their energy usage to a minimum. There's nothing better for classic warmth than pure wool. I enjoyed my last Woolrich blanket until my cousin washed and dried it while I was out of town. That pretty much ruined the otherwise-indestructible old blanket. Be careful to only dry clean this blanket, or at most wash in cold water on delicate and let air dry in the shade.

We needed a throw blanket for our leather recliner in the family room. (We keep the thermostat at a lower level in this room versus the other rooms.)

The color of the blanket matches very well the dark brown leather of the recliner.
