This is such a nice and useful design. I wish it was better made. As other reviewers have noted, the fabric (mostly acrylic) is ultra thin. Though a thin warm layer works great for me in Seattle, the material could be less transparent. I wouldn't wear a light color under the sweater. I ordered the ruby which looks like it has light blue highlights in the yoke. The sweater I received was burgundy with gray highlights in the yoke. I'm OK with those colors but I would suggest more accurate product photos and descriptions. The zipper is extremely useful for frequent on/offs. I would recommend this sweater to a friend only with LOTS of caveats.

The ruby sweater is very nice. It is nice and soft. I liked the fact that it is not too thick and could still comfortabily wear a large outer jacket over this sweater for night time use. You may want to wear a tank top under it just in case.

This is not a "sweatery" garmet. It is more of a jersey knit. If this is what you are looking for, it is fine. Sized on the smallish side. I was giving it as a gift and needed to return it for the next size larger. The exchange process was v e r y fast, in time for the holidays!

Gift for my wife. Fabric so thin it was see through. Was so poor in quality in comparison to advertising text I returned it. Fit was OK, color Ok, but quality of sweater did not match ad at all.

Overall fit was too small but the zipper was the worst thing. The way it fit to the sweater caused it to pooch way out at the bust line.

Sweater is very cheaply made. Photo makes it look like it's bulky knit. It is very, very thin and flimsy. Not the cozy sweater I was after.

The color and style of this sweater are beautiful. It looks like a winter sweater, but the fabric feels uncomfortably short, almost
tissue paper thin and more suitable for summer and early fall wear. This is a real disappointment, because the blackberry color and the very attractive style would make for a gorgeous winter top if the fit were a little more generous, and the fabric lent a bit more warmth.

I was so disappointed in the quality of this sweater. It's so thin, you can see through it. Needless to say, I sent it back. It wasn't the typical quality I see from Woolrich.

When I ordered this I expected to get a heavier wool sweater than it was. Once I got over the difference I realized I really liked it for what it was (light weight). One of my favorite sweaters!

I have the red one and 2 of the grey ones. Love them. Only downside--I was surprised that they pilled a bit.

This sweater is just beautiful. Although the fabric is very lightweight and almost silky, it wears well and came back from the dry cleaners in excellent shape. Some reviewers complain the fabric is too thin, but the sweater keeps you at just the right temperature without alot of bulk. The patterned shoulder is gorgeous. I would definitely buy this again.

Returned this, and all other sweaters I ordered (3 in total) to Woolrich because of the abominable quality of the products. Each one was thinner than the last, resulting in a sweater that was lighter weight than a cotton shirt.

This is a light weight sweater good for the office or casual settings. Not heavy enough for a middle layer for outdoor activities.
