Great Sweater

This sweater is of super high quality, and has held up well in the wash so far. My only complaint is that the material has begun to pill after a few washes. However, the fact that this wool sweater can be machine washed/dried is awesome. I purchased it for my boyfriend for Christmas, and he loves it! He is a substitute teacher and wears it all the time to school. He can also wear it casually when we go out, or just around the house. The color is great (I got the charcoal) and goes with just about everything. I tried it on, and especially liked the fleece material on the inside of the neck. Wool can be really uncomfortable in that area, so it was a nice addition by Woolrich.

Roomy and warm

Wanted a warm, breathable layer for snowshoeing and winter backpacking in the Eastern Sierras and a planned winter backpacking trip into Yellowstone National Park. This fit the bill. Roomy with enough space for a couple layers underneath. Warm and breathable. The 1/4 zip feature allows for regulating temperature on those uphill stretches when you warm up and then closing on those downhill spots where you're starting to cool down. Thanks to my son for recommending this product.

Breathable, soft sweater

this sweater was soft (my number 1 requirement in a sweater) and it breathes. i wear it inside usually, but it is warm too, so you can wear it outside too.

the sweater is nice and warm,soft,and breathable, making it a great piece to wear inside or out, layers nicely under a coat. after washing i did notice a lot of shedding/pilling, but i don't think it will be any real problem. this was the second one a replacement for the first that emmitted a strong solvent odor, the second was very slight and i think i washed it out.

A fine casual sweater

This sweater feels good and fits well. The only problem I have with it is the sleeves feel stretched out at the wrists. I'm afraid that folding them back would stretch them out worse. I still wear it frequently.

I live on a horse farm in Colorado and I use this sweater everyday . On colder days I have actually had to take my coat off. Thesweater is well worth the purchase.
