Great Polo but not the old standby
By old hickory
from North Carolina
About Me Casual, Classic
Comments about Men's Short-Sleeve First Fork Polo:
Compared to previous versions of this polo, the sizing is small .. but in my opinion the old sizing was too large so now the sizing is accurate. The colors displayed on the Web site are only very rough approximations of the true colors, e.g., the Garnet is a shinny orange tinted red. The fabric is lighter than on previous versions but personally I like the lighter fabric and it is high quality soft material.

Finally, a Good Fitting Polo
By ROB2RUN

I liked this polo from the start. I washed it and wore it around the house...it is winter here in MN. The shirt passed the wife test. The color was true and interesting. I ordered three more.

Woolrich, you ruined a great product

About Me Career, Casual
New fabric will not breathe. Woolrich ruined a great product when you changed the material! The older fabric was great, but the new fabric is very hot. I have 7-8 shirts with old fabric. I have tried the new fabric 2-3 times ..... It is consistently horrible.Woolrich, please read your reviews on the change you made and go back to old material or lose good loyal customers... The choice is yours.

dissapointed
By Rick
from Fallston Md
I purchased 5 t shirts - 2 collared 3 plain -- I expected them to be of the same quality as the shirts i had purchased in the past. They were not. The material is thinner and lighter abd the cut is slightly smaller. the color was fine. I paid $165 for 5 t shirts and I got the sane quality I could have purchased at your price competitors for half the cost. I expected better from you -- charge me more if neccesaary but give me the quality that you delivered in the past.

Great classic Woolrich polo, but cut too small this season. Had to return. Hope sizing changes next season back to more classic, traditional.

Is Woolrich color blind?
By Jeff
from Reading PA
The (attractive) color as shown in the catalog was not even close to the actual (awful) real color of the shirt.

Too much of a good thing

About Me Career
It may appear that I am in a return cycle, I'll try to explain. Before Christmass I ordered the moccasin house shoe in size 8. The R. shoe kept hitting my toes. so I returned them for a size 9. The size 9 was way too large. I think we could agree that my foot truly takes a size 8 1/2. Knowing the house shoes were not going to work, I turned my attention to my most favorite shirt ever, your First Fork Collection. So I order three shirts without checking my closet because I ordered two of same style and same color that I all ready had. But true to form, your customer service came throught like a champ. The only recomendation I will make is to add more colors to the First Fork L/S polo selection. I would order the Yellow in a heart beat. Currently I just ordered the FF L/S Polo in Thistle but it's not a good color for me. I have the British Tan, Chambray, Olive and Shale. Still in its package I will return the Thistle for the Deep Navy, Unless Woolrich would object. Can you help me with this exchange. I returned all my proof of purchase paper work with the order currently now in progress. As always thanks for your help, Your a great company.Patrick BeilsmithPeculiar, Missouri,

men's first fork polos
By tom
from long island, new york
woolrich has many quality products; I've purchased shirt, sweaters and more and have always been happy with products and service. Prices are somewhat reasonable. My only negative comment is that the polo shirt collars don't lay flat and curl-up to readily.

NICE POLO. NICE COLR . GOOD QUALITY . WOOLRICH MADE SMALL SIZE . THIS IS GREAT
Reduced Quality
from Middle America
The shirts being shipped now are not the same quality as previous Woolrich shirts. Smaller cut, more shrinkage and thinner material. Obviously moved to another manufacturer because of price, not quality.

It's fine as an everyday work shirt (construction supervisor). Wouldn't wear it for golf or casual dress. The Tisbury is a better shirt, better deal.
If it aint broke, dont fix it
By Bob

Nice shirt all in all, but not quite the quality they used to be, especially for the money. Seems the shirt is much lighter now, and unknown how they gonna hold up with repeated washes. They need to go back how they been made for years or lower the price.

This shirt is perfect for casual wear where you want to look sharp, but not over-dressed. I will get more colors now that I know.
Great shirt...Looks good, wears good.

Men's First Fork Polo is a comfortable shirt, looks good and is true to size.
Great polo, but previous versions better
By Misha
from Santa Ynez, CA
I have bought First Fork polos before, and absolutely LOVED them! It's still a good product, but the new ones I just ordered are not the same as previous ones. The fabric is much thinner, does not drape as well, and so I am disappointed. The price has not dropped, but the quality has. It's too bad. This was one of my favorite shirts in all the world! I guess I'll just have to wear my old ones until they disintegrate! (They are sure to last longer than the new ones I just got!)

This is not the same old shirt. Order a size larger than the "Guatamalen" made shirt. Also, thinner and lower quality.

Disappointed
By Brian
from Maryland
These are not the First Fork polos they used to be. The material is much thinner, feels cheap. They shrink too, now, so if you try them, get a size larger than you normally wear.
