Comments about Men's Short-Sleeve First Fork Tee:
For the price of the tee shirts I assumed they where made in USA. My fault for not reading more info

Not for me anymore

About Me Casual
Fabric weight has diminished significantly over past several years, with a corresponding increase in price. Buyers and Management think we consumers are stupid. Woolrich as a brand no longer represents high quality

Longer
By Uncle Bob

See all my reviews
T-shirts from another company have become shorter and shorter over the years, probably reflecting a change in fashion. I am probably no longer a part of their target market (i.e., becoming older than dirt). This shirt is both comfortable and long enough to remain tucked in. Just what I want.

Bght this item many times - its changed
By Simple Carpenter

I've bought this products many times because it had such a great feel and look. Before I ordered it this time, I noticed several reviewers mentioning the quality is no longer the same. They were right. The material seems thinner and just doesnt fit the same.

My favorate Tee - but quality is declini

About Me Bargain Shopper, Casual
Actually love these shirts, owned roughly twenty five over the last 10 years. Very soft and comfortable. But the quality seems to be declining and the price is going up. Now I am getting seperation and holes developing at the seams after only a few washings. Size is not consistant.

[*] QUALITY
By Mark
from New Jersey
I used to by these shirts every year and they were the best tee shirt I ever owned - until they started coming from [*]. Poor quality, poor fit, might as well get them from [@] now. When they start coming from India & Macau again I will start purchasing again.
Nice Shirt.....BUT

If the T's are made in China forget it.Sleeves are to short. If they were still made in India or Pakistan, better quality, heavier material, sleeves were just right,

Woolrich is saving a few pennies, but losing customers along the way. Quality is not the same since changing to "Made in China" I have bought many of the old woolrich tee's, now I must look else where.

First Fork Tees Not What They Used To Be
By John
from Dayton Ohio
About Me Casual, Classic, Eclectic
I used to think of these as my exclusive T. But quality has declined quite a bit. The comments re China are dead on. The India and Peru versions were better. The quality/thickness of material is hit and miss. Two things I always liked about the originals: the length of the short sleeves (a little longer than most) and the tightness/thickness of the next. Neither of these features is the same: the necks are are way too big (seems many T makers think that anyone wanting a large or x-large has a really thick neck) and the sleeves are a bit shorter.
T-Shirt that Beats Competition
By Busy Mom

About Me Classic
I bought 2 of these shirts for my husband who is very picky about T-Shirts. He complains a lot about the thin material and/or the "trendy" narrow cut. For those men who have struggled with other brands, Woolrich First Fork T-Shirts are a welcome reprive. They seemed to satisfy his need for a thick(er) T-shirt. The cut was lose, but not baggy. The colors are nice, but I wish there was a bit more variety. We have purchased other "expensive" T's, and they still disappointed him, too thin, bad cut, or exaggerated stiching. This T beats even the other expensive ones, it's a bit pricy too, but at least you get what you pay for.

I wear these shirts as a stand alone shirt with jeans, shorts or dress pants or a sport coat. I get compliments about the shirts and I proudly declare, "It's a Woolrich."

Why did they change the First Fork Tee?
By Bendite
from Bend Oregon
I have purchased First Fork tee shirts for years and they were fantastic when they were made anywhere but [*]! Until they go back to the original material, craftsmanship and QA I will not be purchasing the tee shirts, looking elsewhere!

Shirts from Macau are better than China
By Dan
from Florida
I bought your t shirts from a retail store that were manufactured in Macau.Like them so much I decided to order them from you.The ones I received were manufatured in CHINA fit a little smaller and material not quite as thick.Even changed the label in the neck to printed, saving money sometimes doesn't pay off.
Not as good as they once were.
By Durangojim

I've been buying these for over 5-7 years. They aren't as good as they once were. I ordered the Navy color and it was closer to slate blue-grey.

Sleeves to short for XXL size
By WXBob
from Massillon, OH
This tee shirt use to be made in Guatemala. I liked the material and fit much better, than the present shirt. This one was made in China. The material is soft, but I liked the mored rugged matertial of my old shirt. The sleeves are to short on my 2XL made in China. I will not buy another China shirt unless they correct the sleeve length.

Shrunk
By Homebody's Husband
from Philomath, OR
I always wear a large shirt from Woolrich and they tend to run big. I ordered this in XL to account for shrinkage. I have this shirt in long-sleeve and no problem, but the short-sleeve shrunk even more than normally expected for a cotton shirt. I had to order a XXL to account for the shrinkage. And it wasn't just one shirt. The 2 shirts I ordered both had the same shrinkage problem. I've had trouble with inconsistent sizing before and it's frustrating when you have to pay shipping returns.

Would and have bought this shirt before
By Hobbit
from Vancouver, WA
This shirt is my husband's most used shirt, it washes really well, keeps it's shape and so soft. Only thing I was disappointed in was the color, thought the color would be close to a lighter blue, when it arrived it was actually a teal color. My husband liked it and that's what counts. :-)
First time buyer
By Dissapointed

This was my first purchase of a tee from Woolrich. The material is very thin and the fit was small. The overall impression of quality was not very good. I expected more from a tee in that price range. Last purchase.

About Me Casual, Eclectic
A decent shirt but not what it was. My first one a few years ago was the best, most stylish tee I've ever had. Now the material is much thinner and they're smaller than labeled (XXL is barely XL). I like them okay but don't get your hopes too high.

Problem with sizes
By ken

I bought this shirt in XL at a store and it was too large. Ordered this same shirt in Large and it was too small. Need to get better quality control. Returned the shirts . Did like them just couldn't find a fit.
