Bought this dress for an after hours work function that would be outdoors in July. Although a tiny bit short, this dress was perfect. Cool and comfy. And no wrinkles, even after a day travelling in a bag.

i wore this dress to the disney park, very comfortable in the heat. it got wet on a water ride and dried quickly. You cannot wrinkle this dress. I have one in every color because I wear them everyday an every where. They wash well and I line dry. in the winter I wear them with leggings or tights but depending where you live, the material may be too light for winter winds. The dress is not see through and the fabric holds up well and is comfortable. The v neck does not show too much cleavage and fits a 40D very well.

the dress has a quirky slant on the left hem. it's also odd that the front is squares and the back diagonal (or vice versa?) - OK but odd. i had to hem it and unfortunately lost the woolrich tag on the hem -- this likely addes to the quirky slant.

I bought one and liked it so much I got another! On the very hottest, most humid days, who needs the waistband of shorts? I wore the first one several times during the heat wave -- once washed it in a cut-off water jug, hung it up for a bit, popped it on. Chose it for a trip to the farmers' market then out to lunch at a great restaurant with friends at the lovely resort town not far away, and felt perfectly dressed and confident. I'll probably buy more. Even with the cap sleeves, it was cooler and felt lighter than anything else, but it's not see-through!

This is a very cute summer dress. I bought it in two colors. Love the fit, and the easy wash and wear. However, even though I am only 5'3", the dress comes way above my knees.

I bought it for work, but am keeping it for casual wear only. I am petite at 5'2" and it was too short on me. Otherwise it's a cool dress for a hot day but waaaay too short.

I have this dress in three colors (plain lichen, black, and blue denim) and love them all. The original blue denim I ordered fit different; however, Woolrich was quick to exchange it and the replacement is awesome. You can wear flip flops and wear this dress on a beach trip OR add a necklace a casual shoes for dress down days at work OR running errands around town. Doesn't get much better than this!

I was looking for a light weight dress to wear to work, and this is not it. Since the plaid isn't matched in the back, (the photo in the catalog and on-line didn't show that) this isn't a dress that can be worn outside the house. The side seams shriek "low cost." On the other hand, it's comfortable and easy to take care of, and really was cheap, so I can use it as a house dress and so I won't return it.

the front of this dress is great--on the bias print. However, the back is a straight print and, when the dress is viewed from the side it looks like the pieces don't match. With a solid this is no problem but with a print it doesn't look right. But, the color is so good and it is comfortable and at that price, I'll be keeping it.

I did have to let out the hem to lengthen it, my only problem. It worked fine.then I wore it to church. Washed just fine.

I was looking for a dress that would stand up to the heat, travel well, and be properly labeled business casual. I thought I had found it in this dress when I ordered it, and was highly optimistic when it arrived. Sadly, my hopes were dashed when I tried it on. It was SO SHORT - all over - that the bottom bodice/bust seam barely reached 1/2 way down my bust. It landed on the high thigh and was too short for business. I'm a tall woman, but this was ridiculous. I would recommended it to a friend if she was VERY petite. Ordered a large.

This dress feels great. Its a bit loose, but that makes it comfortable. The plaid pattern is very nice.

I love the feel of this dress and I can wad it up and throw it in a suitcase without adding weight. I can wash it in the sink and wear it in an hour! I do wish it had a little more shape at the waist but the comfort makes up for the slight boxiness.

The fabric is fabulous for warm weather. The plaid is interesting but not loud. The styling of the dress is good for women with imperfect figures. It pulls on over your head without straining, although the darts in back were a little low for a petite person. It would be great for travel because it would wash and dry in a snap. The reason I returned the dress is that it was a little too short for me (it hit above my knobby knees), and the sleeves were a little too short too. I also did not want to have to alter yet another garment, by removing the darts and re-sewing them farther up. I debated keeping it because almost everything about it was AWESOME.
