Wonderful product
By Larry
from Harrisburg, PA
I bought a pair of Woolrich Elite Concealed Carry pants a year ago, and then bought these to get a different color (black). The front pockets have been re-designed, and it is much easier to use them as a result.Congratulations on making an excellent product even better! These pants can be used for almost anything except formal wear, which is ideal. Use them on the range, shopping, wherever you go. Like many people, I use the concealed pockets for money, ID and so forth, and the regular pockets for a pocket holster. Works very well.

Most comfortable pants ever
I got these for the concealed carry feature and, like some other customers, found that the CCW pocket zippers make that a bad option. Too slow to open. BUT ... they are terrific for keeping things safe, like wallets and passports. Meanwhile, the regular pockets (front and back) are excellent for CCW using a small pistol or revolver in a pocket holster. As pants, these are the most comfortable I own, by a big margin. Very well made and quality materials! Just get them a size larger than normal if you use them to carry a weapon; and use a good belt. These pants are my favorite and would be even if I didn't carry! Now: more color choices!

Quality Concealed Carry Chinos

About Me Law Enforcement/Military
Work in Law enforcement in a subtropical climate. These pants are made of a lightweight comfortabe, breathable cotton fabric that allows for flexible movement and are perfect in this environment. Purchased both colors and very satisfied with the way they fit - usually wear 32-33W but size 34 fits great. Agree with other reviewers regarding concealed zipper pocket - better uses are for storing passport, cell phone, wallet. I use the regular pocket for carrying my S/W Airweight with minimal imprinting.

Questionable zippers
By Lyle
from Chandler AZ
Fit is more "relaxed" than I wanted and will need to alter the legs for a more slim fit. I have concerns about the zippers on the conceal pockets. Without a gun in them, they require 2 hands to open, which defeats their purpose. Also, it's hard to get them to open fully, even with 2 hands, due to the stiffness of the zippers. Maybe this will work out over time. If not, then I will not purchase another pair.

Convinced me to buy a second pair . . .
By End Run Jack

Offers good concealment for a small to medium sized weapon. Concealment pocket zipper is stiff and best operated using two hands. Concealment pocket offers excellent carry option for wallet, jewelry, extra money, passport, important travel documents and the like. Excellent protection from pickpockets, as the stiff zipper can not be used without the wearer being aware of it. I'll be wearing these chinos the next time I travel. Bought on sale, so really good value. Ordered black and they really look nice.

Very nice pants
By StevieY43
from Pittsburgh, PA
I bought these pants to wear at work in a business casual environment (ie button-down shirt tucked in). They are without a doubt the most comfortable chino-style pants I've ever worn. Usually I associate the word "chino" with "uncomfortable and stiff", but not these pants. The fit is good for me, I tend to wear 32-33 waist pants but that goes up to 33-34 when carrying. The elastic makes either equally comfortable without bunching at lower size. The hidden pocket is nice for a cell phone, and the stiffer pocket fabric does a nice job of limiting the printing. I can't comment on a pocket gun, but it hides a cellphone nicely. I love that the pockets are designed with a horizontal area for something to clip to (knife, pen, etc). The pockets are also nice and deep.Complaints:-The zipper on the hidden pocket becomes wavy even if the care instructions are followed, which draws attention to the area according to my wife.-I don't find the pass through opening on the back pocket to be necessary for my use. Clever feature, just not something I need in a work environment.-They seem heavier than other similarly styled pants.

Comfortable and made to last.
from USA
Well made pants that are comfortable enough to wear everyday. They are stylish enough to wear everywhere but the most formal occasions. The hidden zippered pocket is made of a thick material to help with concealment. Big enough to hold a full size pistol, but far less obvious with a compact. These pants are not designed for quick access to your weapon, but to provide concealable carry when your want your gun near but don't expect to need it in your hand in a split second. I will definately be buying more of these.

Men's Elite Concealed Carry Chino
By Cobra Man's wife
from Portland, Oregon
I purchased the Men's Elite Concealed Carry Chino for my husband for our wedding anniversary. He was very surprised and delighted that I selected such a useful and unique gift. The pants fit perfectly, are extremely comfortable, as well as handsome plus he always has his 45 with him. For me, I no longer have to be concerned that he left his gun in the truck, his exotic sports car or in his office desk. A win-win for both of us. With enormous enthusiasm, I will tell all of our shooting colleagues about the Elite Concealed Carry Chino.

Well made but gun not quickly accessible

About Me Hunter
The only criticism I have is that when the concealed carry pocket is zipped, it cannot quickly be unzipped to access the gun. It takes me two hands to operate the zipper, which binds unless I use my off hand to pull down on the pocket while my right hand pulls up on the zipper. It takes me about five seconds to access the gun in this fashion (unacceptable). If I leave the zipper unzipped while carrying, depending upon the size of the gun, the gun may be visible by someone standing in back of me. With this important exception, this is a very well made product that is very comfortable to wear and it fits me perfectly. But, it needs a better pocket closure system (magnets, perhaps) that is more easily opened for gun access.
Very nice product
By UncleLee

The pants have an amazing fit and have large enough concealed pockets to carry a Taurus .45 but conceal much better with a .38 Smith and Wesson Airweight. I really like the expandable waist band as it makes them very comfortable with a nice fit. just got them today and tried different carry types. like the fit and concealment with the .38 Airweight. I would recommend them to anyone and am going to order more very soon. My wife even likes the way they look when I'm wearing them and would like more color selections for different occasions. I usually wear black pants everywhere so I'm not concerned with the variety of colors.
Concealed carry, not access
By Utah Bill
from Springville, Utah
I like the fit of these pants, and they look good. Nice to see some decent belt loops. The elastic expansion system in the waist works very well ans adds to the comfort. Biggest complaint is that the "hidden zippers" that close the concealed carry pockets made too much compromise for the "hidden" part. It is semi-difficult to find the pull tab for the zipper, and the zipper is small enough and stiff enough that quick access to a concealed weapon would be difficult if not impossible. Closing the zipper is also difficult; almost a two hand operation. Still, the pants fit well, are roomy in the right places, and look fine.

Excellent
By SteveP

This item was shipped on time, packaged well, and did not disappoint. the color, fit and finish were very good, as I had hoped they would be. Unlike several other brands, the zipper length was NOT short! I would definitely order from Woolrich again without any hesitation. It is hard sometimes to order sight unseen, but my experience with Woolrich makes me feel OK to order anything at all. This item has the added concealed pockets, and the way they did it works well with what I had in mind and does not give away what I might choose to put in them. the waist and belt loop setup is really comfortable, and they appear to not wrinkle as well! Thanks, Woolrich!
Concealed-Carry Chinos prevent theft
By 1803-1806

I was surprised, and pleased, at the size and strength of the pockets on these Elite Concealed-Carry Chino trousers. Although I purchased these based mostly on the plan to use the "concealed" pocket to occasionally carry a small semi-auto pistol in the pocket, I think I have found an advantage not mentioned in the sales literature. The concealed pocket is the perfect place to carry your wallet and travel documents when traveling. I have had my pocket picked in London and interrupted attempts in Bucharest and Prague. A passport and airline tickets fit easily in the concealed pocket. No pickpocket could ever extract them. Woolrich should market these trousers to the travel market.

Good quality, but stretch waist makes it run too large by a full waist size - order 1-2 inches smaller than usual; I still need to return.

Great idea/design.
By Mike
from Southlake, TX
First impression is very good. The pants are a bit of a heavier than normal material, but if they weren't then they wouldn't hold up to their intended use. They look for the MOST part like classic plain front khakis, but the thick belt loops seem a bit much. I wear 36X36 which I couldn't order through this website, but they DID have them in stock on their [@] store. I got two pairs, one had flawed sitching next to the front zipper, but [@] let me do a convenient no-charge switchout on those. The other reviewer that said the zipper over hidden pocket wasn't easy to unzip was right about that, it kinda jams when it's halfway unzipped. I figure if I ever gotta get my gun out in a hurry these pants will need to be replaced, cause the zipper will be destroyed when I rip it open. One other thing, I do wish they were straight leg instead of tapered. When pants with a 36 inch inseam taper at the same angle as shorter pants, the ankle opening is kinda small by the time it has extended that much farther down.

Need larger sizes
By Too Large For Woolrich
from Jacksonville, FL
Wonderful pant...great idea...built to small. 46 may seem like a large size, but it isn't. Average size guys have 100 ways to conceal already. Us stouter folks need to be more creative. Add sizes in the 50"+ waist range and you'll sell a great many of them.As it is now, only the biker clothing manufacturers seem to understand that fat guys need clothes too.

good pants
By Josh
from Seattle, WA
These pants are well made. The pickets are made of a material that reduces "printing" of items carried. The two zippered pockets should only be used to carry things not needed quickly. Overall, I wouldn't hesitate to buy another pair.

Great pants!
One of the most comfortable pants I've worn in years; well worth the money regardless of tactical features.Only thing I didn't like was the zipper on the concealed carry pocket is too small; needs to be beefier, and open from top down, with bigger, flat zipper handle.

Tactical chinos

All of my pants from other makers are 38X30. That's what I ordered from Woolrich. The pants were too small in the waist and the thighs. I had to exchange for a larger size.
