Purchased this item for its style & warmth. I wear hats year-round basically for protection from sun but also in colder weather for warmth. Hard to find style that looks good on me in winter and this one does! Love it.

This is really a great hat. It is 'well made', but for me maybe more important is the way it fits. Ivy caps tend to mat down my hair, this hat doesn't. The style is something I don't see in my area. With the style and fit it looks great.

I was unsure about what size to order for my husband. He wears a 7 3/8 hat, but the service rep was unable to tell me if I should order a large or extra large. Took a chance on the large size & it was fine. My son has one also.

I bought this one as well as three more for my sons and an Uncle. All of us are hair follicle challenged (bald). They fit well were not too overly warm and as the day/ evenings grew cooler the hats continued anticipate the increased need for heat and to keep us comfortable. I/ we prefeer the one color and the Irish style seems to fit better on all of us in this family. You can't beat wool for an enduring garmet and you can't beat Woolrich for quality.

I love this cap. It keeps my dome warm, minimizes "hat hair," and looks great with leather jacket, wool trench coat, casual jacket, and sweater. A friend admired it the other day and I'm writing the review because I returned to the website to buy one as a gift.

... but love hats, your options are often limited. For me "One size fits all" doesn't. Even sized XL hats are often tight, or just don't sit right (more dome than fabric.) Specialty hats (rainwear, sunwear, knitted winter beanies) are usually better fitting than fashionable, causal, day-to-day hats.
This bad boy, however, is near perfect: an earthy fabric feel, well detailed and made, toasty enough for three seasons of moderate temps (not for summer, though), it covers most of my dome perfectly. It has quickly supplanted my previous favorite, the Flying Point Oysters baseball cap. (The bottom paint I got on that one didn't help.)
I showed up at a gallery opening wearing this & a Teton vest & got flack for looking a little too Oulde Sod. There's nothing bad here: it's a great hat!

I'm bald and have to wear hats/caps to keep the dome warm. This hat keeps me warm and feels so good I forget I'm wearing it. I wear it for work and whenever I am out driving about town!

This hat fits and looks great. Definitely works well with casual clothes. The wool hat is great up here in the Northwest for the fall and winter. I couldn't be more pleased with this product.

I bought this hat becuase I've lost a lot of weight and now I am cold all the time. I haven't worn a hat before and wanted one that would look good for everyday and for evening. This one fits the bill! I love it! It is warm and comfortable. Sometimes I forget to take it off while inside. Like right now!! I've received many compliments since I started whereing it! Nice cap that splits the difference between classic and trendy. The cap's profile is slightly exaggerated in comparison to more traditional cheese cutters. But it fits true to size, and the material is soft and relaxed enough that it ends up looking casual and stylish rather than rigidly perched atop one's head. And it's legitimately warm, which is nice.

I bought this from the on-line store on impulse. Very glad I did. This hat has a great fit, and is incredibly comfortable on my bald head. Some readers may understand how uncomfortable some hats are and how wool can be itchy. Not this cap. It has flair, comfort, and I think that wearing it adds a little sense of mystery to me.
