It has been next to impossible to find any type of turtle-neck pullover at any of the storefront retailers in my area of the South. We get plenty of cold weather, so why do they look at me like they do when I ask for a turtleneck? This was a great find. It was as presented, color and fit. Ample material, a quality feel and very comfortable right there around the neck. I can easily layer a synthetic beneath this with no ill side effect. Or I can wear this beneath a lined courdoroy or thick wool sweater. It is indeed versatile and well constructed.

The First Fork t-shirts and turtlenecks are the best quality for the price. I had been purchasing the mens long sleeved t's and turtlenecks from another well know company for years, but after a couple of washings tiny holes starting appearing in the fabric. The Woolrich are by far a higher quality fabric, comfortable,wash well and come out of the dryer looking great !

These turtlenecks are durable enough for use at work (as a paramedic) and comfy enough that I can wear it for a 24 hour shift and not be desperate to get out of it when I'm done with my shift! Not to mention how warm it keeps me on cold January days when I'm outside working and it still lets my skin breathe! The ultimate turtleneck!

First Fork Turtleneck

Very pleased with this garment. Fit is almost perfect, and especially nice not to have to deal with too much fabric in the body (I am fit, but not obsessively so). The fabric feels excellent; I have very sensitive skin and most strongly-dyed garments feel harsh against the skin, but not this one. Details are very nice with the slightly elastic collar and cuffs, nice hem at the shirt bottom, and careful folds at the shoulders. Heck of a buy. I have a CK cashmere turtleneck that is not as comfortable as this one. Well done, Woolrich!
