I wanted a shirt that fit over things as well as being able to wear alone. And I needed a plaid that went with many colors and fabrics. Sometimes a sweater is too warm in the fall and spring so this shirt fits the bill on cooler mornings and evenings. The fact that it washes and dries well is a bonus also and it isn't so bulky that it takes up too much room in a small travel bag. Very versatile and comfortable. That's the most important thing. Very comfortable. Sleeves down or rolled up. All good.

I purchased this shirt after spending HOURS looking for a well-made and fashionable plaid flannel button up. I am SO thrilled that I purchased this!! I was able to snag the Onyx in an Extra-Small before it sold out. It is a incredibly high-quality product and has prompted me to purchase more Woolrich flannel. The pattern is perfect and neutral so it'll complete many outfits without having to be matched too perfectly. I am 27 years old and this shirt is very fashionable.

For sizing information - I am 5'1, 105 pounds and wear a 30F bra. I have a very large chest and have a difficult time with sizes (a medium will fit my top but is huge all over -- that type of problem) so I was worried about purchasing an XS, but I'm so glad I did. It is large on me (I'm sure the petite would've been a better option for this), and the sleeves are long and the tails are long. The shirt buttons up fine with plenty of room to spare. It is definitely fashionable as baggy shirts are 'in'. This shirt partially tucked in with my skinny jeans and fur trimmed winter boots = perfection!!

I am so sorry this shirt has been "updated" with a new style that includes princess seams and more darts. A flannel shirt is supposed to be comfy. Also wish for some more of the colors used in the mens shirts. I ordered all the mediums left and am now probably back to buying mens styles even though they are too long and often not offered in a size S.

I have two of the shirts and I just love them. They are very comfortable and warm.I used to buy only men's flannel shirts but these are much better fitting and the colors are more feminine. The only thing I didn't like about them is the sizing was off. I had to buy a larger size them normal because they are a little narrow in the shoulders for us girls that have a more "rugged" body type.So far since I have washed them the fabric seams to still have that "cozy" feeling. I would like some darker colors like navy and dark green. All in all these are great shirts and i would buy more.

I appreciate the petite size to keep the sleeves from being too long. I use this as an over shirt too keep warm. It is OK as long as I do not try to button it. I wish it were made for women with breasts.

This is my second color. Fits great, washes well, good quality. I like this style - I am busty and it fits nicely without being super long. I am sz 16-18 on top and usually between XL and XXL. Got the XXL and it is comfy but not too big.

Great for camping, babysitting the grandkids, work inside and in the yard. Colors go with lots of my other clothes, from jeans with rust-colored wide wale cord barn jackets, to grey woolen coat dresses with crocheted insets and sleeves, boots, and scarves, to motorcycle black leather jackets and Hells Angel boots. Fabric is not the kind Woolrich sold a few years ago -- those plush flannel ultra soft and snuggly numbers. These (I got two actually) are not designed with an ample, ease-of-movement cut. The shirt/blouse is a feminized version of a man's flannel, in my opinion. A thinner material with less nap than many flannels. I love the feel of soft flannels . . . they're so warm. And I keep waiting -- alas, in vain! -- for Woolrich to come out with some color-rich red/gold/and neutral paisleys, some exotic Indian-looking prints, some Navajo and tribal motifs, and also some delicate and feminine flannels -- maybe with modernized lilies, or coral bells, or 30s colors and Erté designs. I really want something chic, stylish and feminine. . . . maybe inspired by Norma Kamali,who used to use a lot of snaps and real cotton sweatshirt material in vibrant reds and blacks. But no. Anyway, I'm not holding my breath until then, and since this is better than fleece because it's not so much like "gym clothes" and therefore is more versatile, this is it for me for now. It is what it is, doing a decent job of being utilitarian and serviceable but certainly not spectacular in any way.

These shirts don't fit me quite right—arms a little long, hips a little tight—but I think that's my body, not the shirt. The only odd thing is that one (the tan with orange plaid) doesn't seem to be flannel at all. It's great—I really like it—but it feels completely different from flannel.

This is a nice enough flannel shirt, but the size small petite was cut a bit too large and baggy for my preference so I returned it. Did not like it enough to try an XS size. The onyx color combo is very pretty.

This shirt was a gift to myself when I bought two others as gifts for a friend. I love Woolrich shirts and this is one of my favorites. It is a soft flannel but not heavy. I wear it open over a short-sleeved T-shirt with jeans for a comfortable, casual trip to town or working around the yard. I got compliments the first time I wore it!

Love this shirt I bought a green one and red one they fit great and I Love the sleeve length. I have trouble with sleeve lengths and this is perfect. Havent washed yet just wore once but hopefully it will do well. I am a new customer to Woolrich and if this is the kind of quality, I will be back.

I love the Woolrich fabrics, and the way the shirts are cut. The cuffs and hems are different from other shirts. They put an added seam or something unusual, and the way the callar lays is perfect. Only a great/expensive shirt looks that good.

Unusual and vibrant colors, velvety soft fabric. First time I've ordered anything from Woolrich, and was very pleased with the quality of this shirt, evan at the full price. I'm 5'1" and 125; I ordered a petite M; the sleeve length was perfect. I would have preferred the body to be just a tad bit longer- an inch or two- but it didn't deter me from ordering a second shirt in Ruby. This shirt looks great layered over a cami and worn with corduroys. I'm an art teacher and wear this shirt to work and have gotten many compliments. I'll be sure to order early next year while all the color options are available!
