Comments about Women's Spring Hill Packable Vest:
I have been looking for an extremely lightweight vest for storing objects during travel. This is the perfect vest. I hope Woolrich brings the vest back with more colors.

i like the pockets. they are large and deep so i can carry my wallet and keys with no problem. hope you get more in in black because i want that color too. they are totaly comfortable and i wear them almost every day. just toss them in the washer when they need it and they're good to go.

I will use this product campling and 4-wheeling on my ATV. It packs down excellently and is a great travel item. It was a little over-priced for a vest.
Just what I wanted!

I was looking for just this type of vest! It has a great fit and doesn't have that "nylon" look or feel of similar vests and isn't bulky. Great color and will be worn for a long time on cooler summer days.

I bought this to go under my "fuzzy but not too warm in a stiff wind jacket" -it works well to block the wind and I am very pleased.
It feels so good!

I work in a Food Bank & need pockets to carry work related items, i.e., tape, plastic bags, box knife, etc. This vest is comfortable, lightweight & has all the pockets I need! The one thing I don't like about the vest? After it was washed, the zipper apparently shrunk & the collar turned up on both corners. I usually just turn the collar under to make it a V neck. If that problem could be remedied, I'd surely buy another one!

5 stars except the price tag

Tried the XS first, fit my mid-section but too short. Exchanged for S which added more than an inch to length, preferred a little baggy (S) over too short (XS). I'm slight-framed and 5'6" so I consider it true to size, it will fit many perfectly. It is absolutely featherweight, great indoors and as an outdoor layer, does provide wind protection. The gathers at pockets and hem are cute and functional but not too bunched, really nice touch, sets it apart. Only complaint is the price - I'd consider this a [$] retail item, not [$], so you might wait for a sale. I got one here full price and one at another internet sight for 1/3 of the price so I consider it a good average :-)

This is a very well made vest. It is lightweight and can be worn indoors to take the chill off or as an extra layer that is not bulky. Hope to get this in more colors.

lightweight vest
By Seattle Slough
I wanted a lightweight vest with minimal insulation for spring weather, Does not work for me. It is basically a nylon or synthetic liner with no other insulation to my knowledge. Could be used for light layer in warm weather but not sufficient for anything more. Way too pricy for what it is.

I didn't like the cut at the armholes or the use of elastic there.

perfect for layering in variable weather or light wind/rain break in coolish weather
For the price, not enough quality.

This item was pricey for what was received. A mesh liner wld. be nice. I plan to use it as a layer on not too cold days as I assume it is a wind-stopper type of garment.
