Highly recommended! Great fit, durable and warm and comfortable. I liked it so much I bought a Passage jacket and love them both.

I recently got to test the warmth of this vest in Jackson Hole, Wyoming when the temperature turned frigid.

I wore this vest on top of two thermal base layers and a heavy fleece and it kept me comfortable when temperatures plummted well below zero.

This vest is warm, comfortable, and has a classic look.

Works for me.

After months of looking, I purchased this vest as a Christmas gift for my husband. I was extremely pleased with the quality and thrilled that he finally found the perfect vest. I purchased several coats from Woolrich for myself and have never been disappointed with the quality and price.

I bought it for my partner as a Christmas gift. My partner is VERY particular about any clothing items, and I had not had good luck in finding any clothing items he would appear to happily accept until this one. Since the moment he tried this vest, he had it on for the entire night. He had so many good comments about it that made me thinking that gifting may not be that difficult at all, only if you find the right product.

I love Woolrich products. My husband's size is XL so I bought a vest that is XL. I think it runs a little bigger than other brand products. The design is very cool and it is very light.

High quality and great cut... not too crazy about the red/black checkerboard lining but overall I'm enjoying it!

Great Vest

I purchased this vest as a layer while hunting......works great. The best part is I can wear it for other activities as well......good looking vest!

This is my second Passage vest. I bought one in dark wood heather last year and loved it so this year I decided to add one in olive heather. The color was slighter darker than what i was expecting based on the online picture but I am still happy with the purchase. This is a great vest for layering on cool fall days or mild winter days.

This is one of the greatest articles of clothing I have ever owned. We moved to Bend, Oregon a couple of years ago. I like to be outside and I have not had a article of clothing that seemed to fit my needs. I have been telling my wife that I wanted to get a vest but I could not find anything I liked. We looked all over and the vests we looked at were either too bright, too light weight, wrong color, etc, etc. I just am too picky I guess. Then a few weeks ago we got a new catolog from Woolrich and she found a vest in there that looked like it might work. She picked blue (maybe not my color) and it was delivered about a week ago. Man, is this a great vest!! I will be wearing it a lot in the winter time or when we are on the coast.

I really enjoyed the Woolrich personal customer service, I was pleasantly surprised when a person rather than recording answered and they were actually in the same country and willing to help and answer all questions. The free shipping for exchanges policy will make me a long time customer as sizes aren't always what you expect when ordering by mail. I bought a vest and a jacket and am enjoying them very much!

I really love this vest...took me a while to find exactly what I wanted while browsing the web but definitely glad I thought of Woolrich. Fit is perfect to size and the vest looks and feels great. Will definitely be a repeat customer

This vest is very warm and comfortable. It functions well as an insulating layer for very cold weather and also on its own for milder temps. I bought the dark wood color, it appears that it would work well in the woods also. The waist band drawcords are also very handy.

Good value...nice vest at a sale price with good shipping! Given the winter of 2012 is nearly behind us, the vest won't be used a lot until next year. On the other hand I'm set for next fall!

I gave this to my boyfriend for valentines day and he loved it, found it to be of excellant quality fabrics, very well made and the fit was great. He enjoys the warmth it provides and the style allows for layering which is great for changes of temperatures throughout the day.

This is a great vest and it's easy to see the quality in it.

Very warm, blocks the wind, and looks sharp in urban settings. Haven't had it on in the woods or out fishing yet. Seems well-made, but time will tell. I tend to be too big for a medium and a hair too small for a large in most brands. No exception here. If they took a little bulk out of the tummy, the large would fit me like a glove. As it is, it looks really nice and I may purchase the long-sleeved version in a different color. Would purchase again.

I own 27 vests and this is by far the best vest that I have ever purchased. It is made with high quality materials and fabrics and is worth every penny that I spent on it. Matter of fact I have purchased 4 of them. Two in black and 2 in gray. I use 2 and have 2 brand new ones in my closet !!!!! for future use !!!

Just bought it but am thrilled so far. Some reviews stated it ran a little large but I'm 6'2 185 and the Large fit me perfectly. So far no complaints.

Unless it's snowing heavily, all I generally wear outside is this vest over a wool shirt. Pockets are placed well and are good sized to be functional.

I had looked for a down vest for some time, and actually purchased a "puffy vest" from a competitor. I wanted something that was a little dressier, that also would keep me warm, that had zipped side pockets, and an inside zipped pocket. Woolrich's vest fit the bill. I was a bit unsure whether I'd like it from the picture, but when I took it out of the carton, it was fabulous. No regrets. It was more expensive than most, and shipping was also expensive, but I'm glad I got it.

Everyone needs a down vest and the passage vest is a classic. Great with a button down shirt and khakis.

Great vest! Started sweating the minute I put it on in my living room. Very comfortable too.

I'm 6'0", 195 lbs and typically wear a medium in Woolrich coats because the tend to be bulky. Had to exchange for a large in this vest though - must be putting on my winter "insulation."

5 stars if collar material was softer. Very warm
