Good Value

I was looking for an affordable version of the classic Baracuta jacket. The Yankton jacket is a good subtitute at a reasonable price. However,it does not have the yoke on the back like the original baracuta. It also has Woolrich embroidered on the sleeve which I did not notice until I wore the jacket; a major drawback. Standard shipping was 8 business days; not the 3-5 advertised.

Yankton fir fall & spring

My fall/spring jacket had finally worn beyond wearing. The Yankton looked much the same online, and at that price I couldn't say no. I trust Woolrich, so it was an easy decision to purchase. I'm glad I did. Thank you Woolrich.

Nice classic style jacket, at a great price. Try getting any other 'barracuta' style jacket, with this type of quality, for under 200$! If you find one let me know. For [$] the style and quality can't be beat. The color of the lining is very classy, and the interior pocket with loop fastening is nice. The knit cuffs and waist are a perfect size with out any tightness. The collar can stand on its own but can be laid down as well, and the buttons are a nice quality and stitched on well. Lining is a bit stiff/ scratchy, and the cut isn't the most flattering, but I need to lose a few lb's anyways. Anyways, the color is a nice even tone and a classic.

Wish smaller size was available

I really liked the style, finish, and quality. It's a clean and simple, and the inner lining is beautiful. But for a 155 lb, 5'10" guy, a medium was far too big and puffy. Would have tried a small, but they weren't available. Really too bad, because if it would have fit, I would have loved this jacket.

Don't like to wear apparel with brand names or logos displayed. This jacket had "Woolrich" embroidered on sleeve. Not good.

Finally replaces an old, similar jacket from Eddie Bauer. However, excessive polyester content in shell blend detracts from the feel of the garment. For L, XL and XXL, needs another inch on the inseam. They should offer a "long" version. Also, Woolrich doesn't offer this style in plain khaki.

My father wanted a warm Spring/Fall jacket that would keep out the wind, and look spiffy. Many of the jackets in the stores are styled for younger men, so we were thrilled to find this one. The fabric has a crisp, weighty feel, and looks clean and 'sharp' on him.I would prefer it were made in the USA, but that is my only 'con'.
