I was ecstatic when this jacket arrived. I wanted a warm, yet lightweight, and stylish jacket for my upcoming trip to Europe. This jacket is so comfortable and good-looking, that I can't wait to wear it. It is designed for bad weather, yet is pretty enough to wear for any occasion. I love everything about it. The fabric seems just a touch rough, but I think will soften up with use. The colors, both in and out are perfect...cream out, light beige in. It even has an interior pocket for security while traveling! I think it will be one of those great purchases that I will love for years.

I AM IN LOVE WITH THIS COAT

I love this coat! I am a 6-8-10 size up top and the Medium is a perfect fit. I am very into earth tones right now so was a little surprised by the bright ruby red satin-like quilting on the inside, but also delighted by its contrast to the classic light charcoal gray material of the coat. The ends of the sleaves are lined with a nice black elastic knit cuff that helps insulate wrists/arms from the wet and cold. The coat is perfect in windy and rainy weather - great for moderate/damp/wet/cool Pacific Northwest climate; perfectly in-between a rain coat and a warmer wool coat. Inside has fun pockets; zip and non-zip. The coat is very well-made and I love wearing it! Oh, and the hood is great to pull over for truly rainy days. I've gotten several comments on it's snazzy appearance. Put on your waterproof boots and face the cold rain in style and snug warmth...it may be cold and damp outside but you will be warm inside and smiling in this fabulous coat!

This coat is adorable! I love the color blue and the shiny blue lining and the little floral inside pocket..so cute! Being a few miles outside the Olympic rain forest this coat is the BEST!

Nice, warm raincoat

I bought this raincoat for a trip to Seattle and Vancouver in November. I was glad I did -- it rained for two straight days while I was out there and this coat kept me warm and dry. In addition, the coat is pretty stylish. I especially like the red lining and recently noticed there are some faux-patches on the elbows -- a cute detail you can't see in the picture online. I have two (minor) issues with the coat. First, the sleeves are about an inch too long from me. (I am 5'4" and purchased a medium.) Second, I have had trouble keeping the hood on. There are no buttons or snaps for this but there is an elastic drawstring inside the hood. However, unlike around bottom of the coat, there are no toggles to hold this drawstring in places, only little leather things that I do not know to use. Toggles would be helpful, although I could see how they might also get in the way. In general, this coat fits well and is extremely well-made. I like the rib-knit collar and cuffs that seal me in and keep the cold out. I have been wearing this coat now that I am home and it keeps me warm in 25-35 degree weather and is great in wind.

Warm and cute

I haven't gotten a chance to try it in the rain yet, as Portland, Oregon, is having an unusually dry fall, but I purchased it with the intent of having a good-looking jacket for our 8 months of rain. I would have liked it to be a little more curvy, but it has enough other qualities that I was looking for to make it well worth the purchase. I am very pleased with it. It's the best coat I have ever owned.

This was a perfect solution for a stylish, waterproof raincoat that works in most workaday and travel situations. Unfortunately, the fit was a little tight across my back, so I will be returning it. I'm disappointed, as its hard to find a functional, but not 'mountain climber' type raincoat....
