I took a chance ordering this coat with out ever trying it on - however, I am so glad I did! This is absolutely the warmest coat I have ever owned. Living in the northeast has its challenges, especially the cold. It is keeping me warm with wind chills in the -0 range. It's so comfortable - Best purchase ever!

The jacket is quite nice but four things disturbs me:
1. The sleeve is too short.
2. The zipper is too sharp, it's too difficult to zip and it runs unsmooth.
3. The fur is not as big and fluffy as shown in the pictures = misleading the customer.
4. The buttons are not well sewn.

The fabric and design of the parka are very good. Living in cold winter climate, one needs this type of warm parka to wear for outdoor activities. The coyote fur ruff is a nice feature, to keep frozen vapor away from one's face. The two things that I have had the most problem with are ease in the fit and the sharp zipper. I shovel snow and the ease through the arms is tight, especially with a sweater on. This seems to be the cut of many shirts and jackets today. People have to move in their clothes. The second thing is the sharpness of the zipper. It made a red mark on my neck the first time I wore the jacket. That should not happen. Thank you for letting me express my opinion.

Wish I'd paid more attention to the negative reviews of this one. I purchased this jacket as a Christmas gift for my mother, after she admired it in the catalogue. The reality was a major disappointment versus the picture, and definitely not worth the money. The only good thing I can say is that it feels as though it would be very warm. The silhouette is boxy and square, the material used in the outer shell has a weird slick, transparent look and feel, which also makes the ivory color appear dirty. And, the real fur, which looked so rich in the picture, looks and feels scraggly and thin in reality. Needless to say, I sent it back.

I returned the product because the inside beige pocket shows through the front of the off white coat. I bought a similar coat about 20 years ago from Woolrich and still wear it ( Off white and has beige lining which the pockets do not show through the front of the coat) What where you thinking when the assembly of the coat shows shadowing of the inner pocket. I sure hope I do not have to pay shipping cost for this mistake

I ordered a medium...usually wear a size 10 jacket. It was very tight all over especially in the hip area. This is an expensive jacket and it has to fit to last.
I returned it and am waiting for the large to arrive.
Woolrich should offer more color choices for this parka!

I wanted a warm parks to wear on cold winter days. I like a hood because they are warm when walking to and from the work place. I ordered a medium...usually wear a size 10 and it was REALLY small. I have returned it and requested a large...I'm hoping this will be the right size. the fur around the hood looked very nice!

I ordered this coat one size larger than I usually would based on reviews stating it would run small. Unfortunately it was too big. Out of stock on my size so I'm out of luck. I love the coyote trim. Coat is definitely a must in cold weather. While the transition wasn't perfect around the neck area, a scarf could complete the look.

The parka is warm and comfortable.I wanted to buy this parka because it has such a good review and looking at the picture on the homepage it looks very fashy fitting to my ugg boots. The coyote fur looks there very fluffy and thik, but sadly in origin it looks very poor and more like fake fur or like cat. I am very disappointed.I would like to have seen snaps rather than buttons as buttons are difficult to close when it is cold.

I was sent a Men's L instead of a Women's XXL, but it still fits the same and is very comfortable and warm.

I tried on several parkas, including North Face,Patagonia,Mountain Hardwear. The Arctic Parka is definitely the warmest and most rugged. It is a costly investment but worth it.
I wish it came in khaki or gray.
Had to exchange for larger size.

This is a great coat, it ran small for me, probably due to the thick down lining, so I went up one size.

Very heavy zipper, nice fabric and the feather do not come through the lining! Wonderful, no shedding.

This was an investment priced jacket. I found the material about the neck very uncomfortable and not wind proof.The hood extends too far forward and makes it difficult to see around myself without turning my whole body.When you hold-up the coat to the light, you can see through the coat where it has been stitched. It is warm-except for the neck area. I like the clean white color.The material is very rugged and durable. I would like to have seen snaps rather than buttons as buttons are difficult when it is cold.

It's not super cold yet, but I started to use the parka already. It's really comfy like UGG boots, keeps your temperature. We'll see when it gets colder.
The only thing I would have changed is the color...I would have loved it in red.

Overall the parka is excellent with the exception of how open the front of the neck is; will definitely need a scarf for protection.
