Ordered 3 jackets on sale at end of season, intending to keep the one I liked best. Ended up keeping 2, and this is the one I'm returning. It's a lighter weight, which could be a good thing but I wanted something warmer. The style is very cute w a slightly retro vibe. Loved the soft acrylic inner collar and think this is something that Woolrich could incorporate on more of their jackets. Problem for me was the fit. I'm full-busted; got a medium and it was too snug across the chest. Larger, and the shoulders would have been too big. This should work well for smaller-busted women.

Love This Coat
By Relaxed and Casual
from Wisconsin
Very pleased with this jacket. I like the plaid design and think this mid-weight coat is just right to wear over sweaters and layers. The two button front pockets are nicely lined with soft fabric to keep gloveless hands warm, and 2 inside pockets (one button, one zip) are a bonus. I purchased a Woolrich jacket last year as well, and the acrylic fur trim on the collar is an improvement. I sometimes have trouble with the wool collars against my skin, and this one is very comfortable, plus I can button it up tight around my neck, if needed, for extra protection.

Would love it if it were more fitted, maybe with princess seams. Just saying!

skimpy

The shoulders and sleeves were skimpy so I am sending it back. I also didn't like the cuffs that couldn't be opened and shut. I bought the Raeburn Jacket as an exchange and like it much better.

So wanted to love this, but ...

This jacket is very nicely made. I especially loved all the pockets, etc., but the fabric is just very disappointing. The colors aren't as vibrant as they appear in the photos and the overall impression is rather "budget" looking for my tastes. I love plaids, but they have to be beautifully rendered or else they look cheap.

I love this coat. I've recieved compliments on it every time I have worn it. It has sort of an old fashioned look - yet is really warm for in-between weather (between 35-50)I got the brown plaid. Love it!Very well made (typical of Woolrich.) Very nice little features: buttons on the inside of each of the pockets and 2 nice inside security pockets inside the coat. Great buy.

I don't want to rate this product!
By Sam, alias Grandma Sam, alias Samiam....

I loved this jacket: it was what I wanted... except it didn't fit ... me. I'm long and narrow and while it fit in the shoulders and arm length, the body was waaaay too big. This is not the fault of the garment or the design or the construction. Maybe I was just hoping .... lots of clothes don't fit me for the same reasons. Dear Woolrich, if you ever decide to make a jacket for someone 5'8" with a 33" chest, just send it on! love you guys
