I read a review stating that this jacket ran large so I ordered a smaller size. The small is too large for me so I will be returning it.Price was great for the purpose I had intended but just too large.

Good work coat for retail so it looks good too...nice shade of red.
I wish it was a little shorter, but I always wish that with clothing as I am petite. I may alter it, then again maybe not. It's a good basic coat for mild weather. Thanks!

My favorite things about this coat are the softness of the fabric and the overall weight. I had been looking for a soft, medium weight barn coat, and this is perfect for me. Some barn coats are too heavy and stiff, but this coat is almost like wearing a soft blanket. It has a nice broken in feeling which makes it very comfortable. I got the red one and liked it so much that I ordered the green one a week or so later. Both colors are pretty and look very true to the colors shown on the website. It does run a little big so I ordered a size down after reading other reviews, and it fits just right. I haven't washed the green one yet, but when I washed the red one, a button came off in the washer, a minor annoyance. I would still certainly recommend this coat if you are looking for a medium weight coat.

Until I found Woolrich I was hard pressed to find decent clothes online. This coat (in red) goes well with most of my casual wear, such as jeans and corduroys. It certainly goes well with the lovely shirts that I bought from Woolrich also. I will wear it in the spring and fall when the weather is cool in Maine. It is also nice for those cool winter days down south. I like the rich color.

Got this to wear on my ranch for days that aren't so cold, but when you need a layer. Good quality, fit, and color (I got the barn red).

Although it's too cold to wear this jacket now, I know that I will wear it often when its a little warmer. I bought another one for my daughter, different color, who does live in warmer weather. I also bought a different, warmer Woolrich jacket, as I needed one for now, and am impressed with the quality of both products. I would suggest to consider buying a size bigger than normal, just for added comfort.

My sister got this for her birthday in the green color, and my other sister fell in love with it, so I ordered her the burgundy/red one for Christmas and was so pleased at the color when I received it. Can't wait to see her face when she gets this great gift!

I searched all over for an affordable barn coat to purchase. You can not beat the value of this coat. Not only is it well made but the material is very soft and feels like I have owned it for years. It is also warm and does block out the wind. You would need to wear a sweater or a hoody with it to stay warm. Once the temps get into the 40's and above only thing needed would be long sleeve t's . This is the perfect transitional jacket.

This is a coat that will never go out of style. The only drawback is for a petite woman the sleeves are a tad bit long. One half a fold back on the cuff takes care of that problem.

I absolutely LOVE this coat! For once there's enough fabulous pockets of adequate size. Women's clothes historically are very skimpy on pockets. I don't need to carry a purse with this coat the breast pocket for cell phone, the flap pockets for keys and wallet and there's still pockets left over for gloves or valuables. Amazing. It's roomy enough to layer under and even living in upstate NY I haven't had to use my down coat once this year. I got mine for Christmas and I just ordered three more in different colors! Great sale price!

Check with customer service regarding the bust measurement of the actual coat before selecting your size. According to the size chart I am a medium. I exchanged it for an extra small and there's still room for a sweater or fleece underneath. Now that I have the right size, I love this coat!

I like the cut of the coat. The color is nice. It simply isn't quite as warm as advertised. It will be a useful fall coat.

The sleeves were a little long for me but I'm a petite so I just rolled them up a bit. And, I wish it were waterproof for the rain we have in Northern California. I probably could have gone with an Extra Small but wanted it a little large so I could wear a heavy sweater underneath.It works fine doing that and still looks sliming. Love all the pockets and especially the inside pockets! You don't usually find them in womens clothing.

Versatile, comfortable, a bit too roomy, but that's okay--in cold weather would be able to layer under it and so in a way, that's a plus---

The Valley Park Barn Coat was exactly what I'd been looking for as a jacket that I'd reach for time and again.
I think the sizing runs large. Generally I order a medium petite, if I'd done that with this coat I would have been swimming in it. I ordered a size small and it's plenty roomy (enough for layering). Not being able to order a petite size left me with sleeves a tad too long.
