great fit

I love these jeans. These are sooo comfortable in every way for me. They move with me, a good weight fabric. Cute. I'm 55, 5'4", 130 and short waisted (ie: long legs) not hip-py, took a size 6, my true size. They don't look dowdy yet they fit JUST below my natural waist so I can wear shirts in or out w/out looking like the moms-skit on SNL. They hold my tummy in, as opposed to having a muffin top with lower waist jeans - yuk! The straight legs look good in boots or flats. I'm getting two more pairs. One thing I don't like: I have a hard time getting my hands into the tiny pockets - and I use my pockets all the time (change, lipstick,etc.)

Nice color, comfortable, good fabric weight. I'm not curvy, so the butt area is kind of tight and the waist is too big. But I kept them and just wear a belt. I wish they offered a 31" inseam, as they are about an inch too long.

Good weekend pair of jeans

I'll wear this pair of jeans for casual office days, traveling and weekends. The jeans will become a must-have to my casual days. Happy for petite sizes. I'm 4'10", 115 lbs and purchased size 8, petite. Hoping the fit was similar to a pair of Woolrich cords I was given as a gift. Length too long for flat shoes, though. Waist falls just below the belly button, very comfortable and waist fits good. Overall fit of the jean is true to size. Dark denim color is lighter than I anticipated from the color shown on the website. I'm very happy with Woolrich clothing, good quality items I'll be able to wear for more than one season.

Nice-looking, comfortable jeans

I work at home, so I wear mostly casual clothes. These jeans attracted me because of the straight-leg styling and the stretch material. When they arrived, I was a bit daunted by how low the waist was and how short the zipper was -- but they fit comfortably and the length (petite) is perfect for my 5'2" height. They look really good on me and are quite comfortable, though I would like it if the rise were just a bit longer. I like the black color very much.
Most comfortable jeans ever

I normally wear a size 6 in jeans. I was dissappointed when I got these in that the waist was huge. I don't know if it's because it's a lower waist but I can't even keep them up. I already ordered a smaller size because everything else about the fit and comfort is superb.

The measurements given online seemed like they would work for me so I took a chance and ordered the jeans. The legs have enough room for my somewhat muscular legs - not thin - and yet, they are slimming. I like the lower-than-waist fit as I am short-waisted. I ordered the petite size 8 and they fit great. Leg length is a bit longer than I might want but these are jeans, not dress pants. I am quite pleased with this purchase.

Good jeans

I've had these jeans for about six weeks and they are becoming my favorite. They fit well and look good. I bought the black and it's exactly what I wanted -- not super black, but kind of a broken-in black. I am 5'7", 145 lbs., ordered size 12 regular, and the fit is great. Sure, a little snug when they come out of the dryer, but they break in quickly. I am relatively fit, but I'll admit to a changing middle-age middle, so jeans have been a challenge. These are great without being suffocating or looking too middle age.

I can't really comment on these because I couldn't come close to getting them on! Another reviewer had said they ran large, so I bought a size 4, which is the size of many pair of pants and shorts I've bought from Woolrich in past years. I was mortified that I couldn't even begin to get them on, so I just returned them and did not reorder, since I have no clue what size to buy.
