I'm 5'6" 140 lbs 60 years old and had to have them hemmed - 4 inches way too long. But...this is the first pair of jeans I've bought in about 10 years that actually fit and don't gap in the back when sitting. They are better than Not Your Daughters Jeans, don't shrink and color stays true. If you have anything in common with my stats, buy these jeans! I'm ordering another.

These jeans fit very well, except they were too long, as other reviewers noted. I bought them anyway because other items from Woolrich really fit well at the waist and hips. I am 5 feet 4 inches. Because petites are generally too short in the rise, I always get regular lengths. I hemmed them up about two inches, but they could still use another two at least. I still like them and hope the length will shrink a bit.

usually petite lenghts are either too short or too long,but i hit a jackpot with these jeans ,i really cannot wait to buy another pair.they are comfortable ,i love the waist. i am a size 14 and short,so its really hard to find jeans that fit correctly.i fell in love with these jeans ,they are the best jeans i ever had.only one drawback the slight(though not as bad as some other companies)chemical odor.its hard to find dark jeans with no chemical odor and washing them does not take the odor out

I love Woolrich because other brands, in accommodating my chubby hips and thighs, make the waist huge. The Woolrich 14 is great for me. These are the first jeans I've had in a long time that fit, and they are attractive and comfortable. They will have to be shortened, because Woolrich started making their pants much longer a few years ago; they used to fit my 5'7" perfectly. But I'll take it for the great fit!

These are the best pants in my wardrobe. They fit very well, are comfortble, and the fabric is exceptionable. Most blacks fade overtime and look greyish; this black holds to original color, and looks great, washing after washing. These pants can be dressed up or down, and did I mention, they have pockets and are long enough!

I have been looking for the perfect jeans and have found them! Not too high or low in the waist, retain shape, comfortable all day long. I did have to hem them because they were way too long and petites were sold out. After washing and wearing, I have purchased two more pair. Would love the same style in white. These are my first pair of Bryton jeans. I ordered them in a Petite and was really pleased with the sizing. At 5' 4" I am in the tween area for most sizing in pants. I found that the rise was very generous and not skimpy as in so many petite sized pants. I appreciate that the length is actually too long. This gives me the opportunity to have them shortened to MY optimal length with shoes that I wear. I tried them on when they came and my husband's comment was "perfect!" After laundering the fit remained consistent, with some little bit of shrinkage as usually happens with jeans. I got black, but expect to add the blue to my closet soon.

I bought my first pair of these jeans in a woolrich store and was very happy with the fit and the comfort. I went back to get a second pair and they no longer had my size. I finally ordered a second pair. The stretchy waistband really makes them very comfortable to wear, they do not cut into my waist like some jeans do and they do not ride down when I bend over either. They are very well made with good quality denim and are great for casual wear, but can be dressed up with assessories. They are good looking jeans.

I love these jeans! They fit very well and are very comfortable. I finally found a pair of jeans that come up to my natural waist and fit snug through the hips just like I want them. The waistband is reinforced with nice soft fabric that feels nice against my skin and it doesn't roll. The length is perfect for me and I am 5'6". The color of denim is nice, it is not distressed or faded in wierd places like a lot of the jeans you buy now, they are just a nice even blue. I would definately buy more of this style and it would be nice if they came in different colors. I think these are going to become my new favorite jeans!

I'm 52 years old and I've never found a more comfortable, great fitting pair of jeans in my life! The 99 to 1% cotton/spandex ratio concerned me, but to my surprise, these jeans offered plenty of stretch without losing their shape. They even provided extra support across the mid-section. The icing on the cake.....The waistband looks ordinary on the outside with belt loops and all, but the inside holds the secret. There is a very nonconspicuous elastic band sewed inside that gives extra room when needed, but always remains comfortable around your waist......NO MUFFIN TOP...NO GAP IN THE BACK!!!!!!!! Not even after wearing them all day! I bought two additional pair the same day the first pair arrived in the mail and I tried them on! My girlfriend ordered a pair for herself and her sister when I showed them to her at work! I love, love, love them! Please don't stop selling these jeans!!!!!

I'll most likely return them, wasn't expecting the thighs to be so tight. Elastic waist was a huge turn off. They look very nice, just not what I am looking for. Too much elastic/non-traditional jeans.

I'm always skeptical when I order pants on-line....dreading the arrival of the order....just to be disappointed. Only this time....I wasn't. I love these jeans and am going to order another pair. They fit great and are long enough. YAHOO! The stretch in the jeans makes them very comfortable. I'm 5'7" and sometimes jeans are too short.....but these are just the right length w/ my clogs.

I have never owned jeans as nice as these. I am retired so I can wear them everyday and I do. I have also worn the black out for an evening with a dressy top and/or jacket. Really wish Woolrich would provide them in white and wheat colors for spring and summer. That would give them a much dressier look.
