I have three pair of this particular corduroy pant; while slightly below the waist compared to two other Woolrich cords I have, I still find these comfortable and flattering. Like variety of colors, too.

This is my second pair of these!

I bought my first pair of these cords in a store in Vancouver, Canada a year and a half ago, and loved them so much I went back this year to buy another pair in a different colour but the store no longer carried them. So I went on line and found this on-line ordering site - to my joy, the cords were still being made and I ordered a second pair. They fit me perfectly, are made of a high quality cord, and come in a nice selection of colours. If the Russet had been available in my size, I'd have bought them as well - hopefully next year! The one colour I wish you offered in these cords is navy blue. I wear them for both every day and for going out (as long as it's quite a casual event) as they fit so well they can be dressed up with nice sweaters and scarves and look quite smart.

My order was received promptly...I really liked the color and the material of these pants. Alas, they did not fit as well as I had hoped (I am rather difficult to fit in pants - small waist, larger hips and thighs). I am accustomed to dealing with the waist being too large, though, and decided to keep them. They do pretty well; however, I would really like them better if they fit higher on the waist!

OK pant

I like the cords - fabric is comfortable, yet the pockets are shallow (do manufacturers think we women don't put anything in our pockets?)and they are a bit long. If I were wearing them with a boot that had a heel, I think they'd be OK, but I can't wear heels anymore. As other reviewers said, the waist is low in the front. I wear a petite length, and even after washing and drying, I will still have to shorten them.

I have three other pairs of the holly hills corduroy pants and love them. They are my go-to winter pants, very warm and stylish. I really needed the black pair, and when I received them and tried them on, they were at least one size too big as well as too long, and I had ordered the petite. Unfortunately, they had to be returned, and they were the same size as the three other pair I own.

Great but...

These are well made corduroys and the fabric is plush, however I was disappointed that they stretch out quite a bit upon wearing them, thus I cancelled my order for a second pair.

Big disappointment

I purchased a pair of these about a year ago and love them, but these were a huge disappointment because of the low waist. The fabric is great, with just enough stretch, and heavy enough without being bulky. These were different from the first pair and were about 4" below my belly button! So, back they went. I wish I had known they would not be the same. Color was nice too. Too bad.

I have several pairs of these and purchased these in different colors to add to my winter wardrobe. The waist is lower than in previous years. Am still trying to decide of I will keep or send back.
Nice pants

I really wanted to purchase these pants in a smaller size. You were out of my size so I purchased pants one size larger than I usually wear. They are comfortable but loose at the waist and long in the leg. I am hoping they will shrink as I like the quality and color. Many of the pants I buy from Woolrich have been rather tight in my usual size. This was a good purchase but they seem to run large.

LIke other reviewers, I agree that these are great quality pants. Just wish they made them with a longer inseam and a 1/2 higher on the waist. But, even with these complaints, I still kept them because they are made well and are very comfortable.

These are the absolutely BEST pants I have ever had. I did order the next smaller size based on other reviews and it was a perfect fit. The Dark Roast color was exactly what I expected to get, a rich dark brown. The following week, I ordered another pair in Dark Shale. They wash up nicely and I know I will get many years of use out of them as they are very comfortable. I prefer a more casual look, but these can be dressed up with a shirt and scarf or even a jacket as they are very versatile. The quality is outstanding.

Comfortable, soft and durable

Very comfortable, like the lower rise, it is not too low, just right. Great color, as advertised. The rear pockets could have been a little larger and the forward ones just a tad deeper, but these are minor issues. These pants are nice and soft, yet durable. Would recommend these.

Great Cords with Stretch

These are the most comfortable, good looking corduroy pants. I usually spend a lot more to get good fitting cords and jeans with stretch, and these are as nice as those that have cost three times as much. The fit is actual size and the stretch makes them roomy, not tight. The fabric washes well and doesn't shrink or fade. I bought the espresso, black and spruce for something different. The spruce looks great with navy sweaters.

The sage color is perfect and I love the material and fit. Based on previous reviews, I knew that it was a "low rise" version pants. It would be great if Woolrich offered a higher rise version, as wearing the cords with some tops would not be acceptable wear for work. I am thinking about getting another pair in another color, but wish there was a 'normal' waist option.

I am having trouble putting anything else on. These pants are so comfortable I keep finding myself say out loud, "The are the best pants". I can't say they are the sassiest thing on the block but I feel great in them. The rest of my pants and skirts just sit in my closet waiting for the day I put my Woolrich cords in the laundry. Now I am just waiting for a pair that is lined in fleece for those extra cold days.

Pants that fit a curvey girl!

Was shocked when I zipped these up and they fit perfect. I am curvey with smallish waist, so usually have trouble with gapping in back. The fabric is a little cheap looking but haven't washed yet. VERY happy with the fit and they are very comfortable. I ordered the cholcolate brown and it is a nice rich color. Tempted to get another color too.

Comfy, go to pants

If I hadn't bought the same pants last year in a different color I wouldn't have known that YOU KNOW how to make the rise another inch higher which would make them more comfortable. Last year's are more comfortable than these.
