Comments about Women's Classic-Fit Flannel-Lined Pants:
These are great lined pants, but not all women are 6'2" tall. The inseam is much too long for a 5'3' person.

Great pants!

About Me Casual, Classic
I've been looking for a good pair of flannel/fleece-lined pants for a while, and though I'd tried others, all fit oddly or cut corners. These flannel-lined pants from Woolrich are perfect -- warm, good fit, and nice look. Thanks, Woolrich, I'll be buying another pair!

I love these but would purchase more if both black and jeans had black fleece and/or flannel lining.

About Me Casual
I love the fit ... very comfortable. I tend to get chilled easily and I felt stuck with just flannel lined jeans for those casual, really cool days. These are a tad dressier which is quite nice.

Quality Excellent - Sizing runs small
By Artist with a camera

The sizing is one size small. I have three other size 14 pants so I ordered 14 and had to reorder 16.Quality is excellent. Wonderful material. Soft and warm.

Fleece is nice!
By country girl

I ordered the same pants in black. They fit fine and I am enjoying them. However the khaki was cut differently which required an exchange for a larger size. This is inconvenient and expensive considering shipping fees.

Great winter pant for the price

About Me Casual, Classic, Eclectic, Trendy
I bought the tan flannel lined for myself and while they are not as warm as fleece lined they are lighter in weight and easier to wear/more versatile and breathable. I hardly knew I was wearing lined pants. They are also more comfortable when wearing in the house than the denim fleece lined. I liked them so much I bought the black as a gift for a friend. As a plus they wash well and don't need ironing and don't shrink. I love the nice deep pockets as many women's pants have very shallow ones.I would recommend these to anyone wanting some extra warmth this winter.

An urgent need to upgrade sizes.....
By Devoted2Angel
from Hampton,VA
The sizes of the pants on this site need to be re-assesed. They are way too small. I am 16 and ordered 18 as I wanted a loose fitting for winter that I could use with a belt. When it arrived it said it was size 18....but was without a doubt a size 12/14. I could not even get in it. I was so disappointed for the price paid. PLZ know that we are not all size zero...real women have curves.

too short for me
By long sam

I love these pants, but I am tall, with long legs, so instead of ordering a second pair, I am ordering a pair of the men's equivalent. Even an inch longer would be a big improvement.

These pants fit as if they were two sizes smaller than ordered. Khaki material felt cheesy.

flannel lined pants
By Antiquer

Very disappointed in the quality of the material. It was not warm and the flannel lining was stiff. Please bring back the black fleece lined jeans. They are warm and cozy.

Flannel-lined pants
By Susan
from Utah
About Me Casual, College Student
This is the first time I have ordered flannell-lined pants from Woolrich. They are a nice quality and much lighter in weight than other simular pants I have bought. Usually the flannell-lined jeans shrink and run small so I bought a larger size this time. The Woolrich pants DID NOT shrink and fit true to size so as a result mine are a bit to large. This will be good for when it gets cooler and I want to wear an additional layer under the pants. For future orders I will buy the correct size. One drawback, which is common to all black pants, is that pet hair from my two cats and dog seem to be attracted to these pants. Now if they could come up with fur repellant pants that would be a plus!

More dressy than jeans
By Active 40-something year old

The sewing quality and lining fabric is fine, however the shell fabric needs to be a tighter weave. Either use a better quality fabric with more thread count and/or add a small percentage of polyester or spandex to limit fabric that stretches out in the rump an knees. I expected better quality fabric coming from Woolrich.
By and large a great product

Uneven shrinkage - I washed it according to your instructions, and found that the outer cotton layer shrank much more than the inner flannel layer, which causes the red flannel to hang out below the black cotton - rather unattractive! I'll probably have to pay to have the excess flannel shortened.

Very warm!
By Georg
I've not had to launder them yet, but they are warm just as I needed when I purchased. I wear them when I take the dog out for walks, so its only about an hour a day, but they DO THE JOB! And they look nice, not scruffy like worn out blue jeans!

soft, comfortable and warm
By Chris
from Boston, MA
These pants are so soft and comfortable from the first time you wear them; they have that "broken in" feeling of an old, favorite pair of jeans. The lining makes them warmer, but the two materials (flannel lining and canvas) are not heavy and create a comfortable fit and a nice look. They are great and I look forward to wearing them on my next C/X ski weekend trip.

Washes well
By Lynn

Pant legs run long to give a cuff showing the lining. I have the black pants that come with a plaid lining. I will hem pant legs so lining does not show. The pants washed well without any noticeable shrinkage.

These are nice quality jeans. I am a size 4 and the size 4 fit fine in the waist and through the hip; however they then became wide, shapeless logs-for-legs. I looked to see if they could be taken in, but it would have required taking the lining totally apart to re-seam them. It was disappointing; I sent them back. I would love the same pant in a slimmer profile! I have a very old pair of fleece-lined blue-jeans from Woolrich that are the best! Unfortunately, they are near rags.

I discovered a way to make the pants appropriate for different occasions by either wearing them rolled so that lining shows or rolling them under so that it doesn't show for more conservative look.

It is great to find flannel lined jeans for women, since they seem to be rare! These are nice enough in style and fabric for me to wear to work and are VERY warm for the cold weather. I would buy more if other colors were available.
pleased with fit; fabric attract lint

Peached fabric is soft, but in black it really attracts and shows lint. Note we do not have pets- so it is plain old lint and fuzzies...
Very Nice
By Trail Mama

I measured in between a size 6 and 8 and went with the six, which still was a bit big, and with the pant fully extended (unrolled) it was just the right length. Good for a cold office and walking in the cold.

High quality, very warm casual slacks
By Jo cool

These pants are really lined! Not 2 pieces of fabric sewn together to resemble a lined pair of pants. I'm very sensitive to seams and finding a pair of casual pants that are lined has been nearly impossible, until I lucked upon these slacks!

Has Woolrich changed manufacturers?
By Roanoke buyer
from Roanoke, VA
I bought these pants for my elderly mother, who loves her Woolrich fleece-lined jeans from last year. It appears that Woolrich has changed manufacturers or sizing in jeans. I bought the same size flannel-lined pants for my mother this year and the pants appeared to be much smaller.
