Our Hudson's Bay Point Blankets retain the authentic 100% wool quality that has made these blankets legendary. Like those sold in the 18th century, today's blankets are made in England with wool blended from sources in England, Wales, New Zealand, and India. Each type of wool is selected for qualities that help create a water-resistant, soft, warm, and strong final product. The wool is dyed before it is spun and then air- and sun-dried to brighten the colors. This blanket warms the interior of any home.           I'm using this blanket in my cowboy bedroll and have slept in it for over three weeks[freezing cold at night]and staying warm and cozy. Also bought a artillery blanket to double this one up with on really cold days. Quality seems to be superb and I expect to get a lot of years of enjoyment out of this finely crafted blanket.

                I bought this wool blanket for a 7th year anniversary gift (traditional gifts are wool, copper). My husband always wanted a Hudson Bay blanket and I am glad to know WoolrIch is carrying this brand forward. I couldn't be more pleased. This blanket is very warm and soft, not a word I would expect to use when describing wool. The color is beautiful also. As soon as I handled it, I knew my husband and I would share many cold nights snuggled up on the couch with this blanket and it will become a family heirloom. Thank you!
