I do like this sweater but I ordered a medium so I could layer it over a thick sweater. It feels a little small for a medium although it fits me well enough as I am a small, and it does layer well over a thinner sweater. Looks good on.

I like sweaters with a design. This is one that I can wear in a variety of occasions. It was a bit "linty" after the first wash, so I'm not sure how it will wear.

This sweater is so nicely made and the colors are rich and beautiful. I will wear it with jeans but it could be worn with a skirt for work as well. It's so difficult to find well-made clothing but Woolrich comes through again with this classy sweater!

I wouldn't change a thing about this sweater! The cardinal is striking, but subtle, on the speckled black background. Looks great with a red turtleneck underneath.

I really like this sweater. The sleeves are long enough for me; I have very long arms. It's warm without being too bulky so it's very comfortable.
I love cardinals so I was very happy to find this sweater on the after-Christmas sale on the Woolrich web site.

Love this pretty winter sweater! The off white flecks in the black weave look like night snow. The sweater is light enough to be comfortable indoors, you would need an outer layer to be warm enough outside.

This is a beautiful sweater and gets a lot of favorable comments when I wear it. The length and fit are great and it is fairly light weight. That is a good thing because the sweater is very itchy and it must be worn with a light weight turtleneck to be comfortable at office temperatures. If you are caught between 2 sizes, buy a size up for layering. It is a bit pricy at the original price but is a bargain at the sale price.

Got lots of great comments when I wore this to a family gathering on Christmas Day. I'm sensitive to wool so can't buy a lot of Woolrich stuff, but a mock turtleneck underneath and I was all set! Great appearance, comfortable, and very pretty! Love it!

The shape is boxy and the sweater sheds black fibers on everything with which it contacts no matter how often you wash it. This is a poor quality item and I am very dissappointed!

I love this sweater! The cardinal is really cute. The white flecks in the background soften the black and also will hide any lint. Because I will wear a camisole under it, I love that the fabric is light, so it won't be too hot or bulky. I have long arms and am thrilled that the sleeves are long enough, and the back length is also perfect and not too short. I ordered an XL and it fits perfectly, large enough but not too large. I hand washed it as soon as I got it, and it came through perfectly. I would definitely purchase it again.

I have worn it to Christmas concerts and church. It is kind of "itchy", but wear something under it and it is fine. Other comments said the red trim did not match the cardinal, but there are many shades of red in the cardinal...it's fine! There was a small hole, but was easily repaird. It was small enough that I did not return it. The fabric does pill around the arms. As I have worn it a few times, the pilling seems to be slowing down. I think it is a beautiful sweater and I would buy it again!

The sweater sheds all over the turtleneck I wore underneath. The color of trim of neck and sleeves does not match the red of the cardinal. I have several Woolrich sweaters and this one I would not recommend, the others were great so I thought this would be also. I was greatly disappointed.

Beautiful sweater as shown, but is a little scratcy and more loosely woven possibly because of raime content. First sweater came apart at one wrist on first wearing, but Excellent Customer Service shipped new one immediately upon notification.
