Made in the USA
from upstate NY
I purchased this blanket for fall/winter camping. I tried a couple other USA made wools and found this one to be far superior in the softness and comfort dept. It is thick, soft and extremely warm. I am very impressed with the quality of this blanket. I know it will last for generations. I was very pleased to be able to find this Queen sized wool blanket at such an affordable price. Way to go Woolrich!

These are such a great find! Made in USA, with historical value -- these are the perfect size for throw blankets as well as for the guest rooms! I will be ordering more!

This is a very warm and comfortable blanket that is great between sheet and bedspread!
Nice blanket and historical.

I love this blanket! And oddly enough so do my cats. I fight over it with them all the time. Don't really like that it's dry clean only, but d ry clean is easy, just drop it off.:) My favorite blanket. Perfect size for laying on the couch watching football in.

The fact that the Woolrich blanket has historic significance sold us on purchasing one for ourself and one for each of our three sons. The Woolrich Gettsyburg blankets will always remind us of the significance of your company and the 150th Anniversary of Civil War's!

About Me High-end Shopper
My son in law participates in Civil War reenactments year-round. He was thrilled to receive this blanket as a Christmas gift. Authenticity is important to him and the fact this blanket was made in the original mill was great. The blanket will be warm, a bit scratchy but then it wouldn't be authentic would it! Searched other sites, found lower prices, but didn't trust their quality...Woolrich is a company to trust.

My kids stole it from me once they found out how warm it was. They curl up and watch tv with it then go to bed with it. No more comforters for them.

Perfect addition to a boys room

This product was a gift for a dear friend who is a Civil War re-inactor, and Author. She adores it.
Quality blanket, useful for outdoor activities, but I am pretty sure Civil War soldiers did not take their blankets to the dry cleaners. I wish it was easier to clean.
it's perfect in every way, love it!

Best purchase of the year
This was exactly what we were looking for! Living in Seattle, we have very cool summer evenings. We like to spend time with guests on our patio, but it is often too chilly. These blankets are PERFECT. They are warm, wind resistant, non scratchy, don't shed, and are the perfect size to keep on our lounge chairs for those cool summer evenings. We debated about ordering a patio heater, but I think these blankets are so much more versatile and beautiful. I can't believe [...]or some other high-end modern design company hasn't picked these up yet. Very functional, beautiful and high quality.

Warm blanket wraps you up in history!

I gave it as a birthday present and my friend was thrilled. Reminded me of when I was little and the State Department issued us wool blankets. We use them for outdoor concert (POPs) on the water. Everyone comes over to snuggle with us.
