Good tool with reservations

The watch itself is sturdy and is designed well. I like the fact that it has a built in light, knife blade and scissors. It is great for working outdoors and can be easily clipped on to a backpack. The only drawback is the poor quality of the compass. The first one pointed due northwest not north. I contacted the manufacturer, Dakota Watch Company and they told me to return it to Woolrich for an exchange, which I did. The replacement points north only sometimes. The compass is absolutely useless and was probably an after thought made by the designer. Don't rely on it if you go into the wild. It will surely get you lost. I would recommend it with some reservations.

Overall, this tool is very sturdy. Good construction. However, the compass pointed northwest rater that due north. I called Dakota Watch Co. Customer Service about a repair or an exchange. They told me to send it back to where I purchased it from. I returned it to Woolrich as a defective product. I hope that this is an anomoly. When I receive the exchange product, I hope that the compass works the way that it should. If not, then I will return it for a refund.

Great Deal for a Great Watch

I've used it on several hiking trips. It was a great addition to my gear. The only negative is that the dial does not light up for use in the tent, etc.

A pleasant surprise

I will be using the watch as a gift for my son. I just love the sturdiness and rugged look. Even the case it came in is water proof and can be used for small items while canoeing and camping. Well worth the price.

My husband is currently deployed and has enjoyed using this watch/clip. The LED light is very bright and the utensils are sturdy. Even though the numbers on the watch light up my husband and I wish the watch itself had a light built into it. All around, Great product and Gift!!!
