This belt was an XL. That size indicated a 38 waist at the lower end but in range. I'm having to use the last hole. The leather came stained and filmy with some kind of chemical I had to clean off with leather cleaner and polisher. It cleaned up well and looks very nice. I'm probably going to opt for a Large. I don't want to cut it down; it costs too much.

Excellent product

I purchased a black and a brown belt, since I have a rather large and varied wardrobe, and do a fair amount of travel.The belts are very finely made, look nice with a variety of outfits, and are indeed very useful.

Not as expected

Not made of 1 piece of leather but spliced on the visible and outer exposed side of the belt. Another words, this is a pieced belt of medium quality. while barely noticeable, does not meet quality i have come to expect from Woolrich. Generally in my experience this kind of construction will not last a long time. Except for the aggravation i would return both the black and brown belts.
