Woolrich has always delivered on comfort, style and quality. However, this boot did not deliver on the usual standard of excellence I have come to expect from Woolrich. The sole of the boot lasted only 1 1/2 months before it detached itself from the boot. I can't say that I feel confident to buy another boot or shoe from Woolrich again.

Great looking, rugged boot. Much lighter than they look. Comfortable for full day of city, country trekking. Haven't tried them on rugged terrain but suspect they would do well. Bought them because they looked like a hiking boot but were much less expensive and appeared to be well suited for all-around wear.
Several weeks of daily wearing confirms that they are quick to break in, good in rain (I live in Seattle) and are well constructed of good quality materials.

Use for casual, not work.
When I received the tongue was loose on left boot and I had to take it to shoe repair and have it stitched. This was easier than sending it back.

Everyday casual wear. I like the comfort as soon as I put them on. Great overall but I think the tongue could be wider.

I use these boots for light duty construction and service. They have a great look which complements my uniform. The overall quality of the boots is great however after one day an eyelet came off when I was lacing them. I checked out the other eyelets and noticed the rivets do not come down all the way around the eyelet ring. I had the broken one repaired and the cobbler said it was the only bad thing he could say about the shoes otherwise. I still like them.

I was looking for a boot to wear around the cabin and work in. Didn't want to wear out my good hiking boots.
I love the fact that by unlooping the top two loops I can easily take off the boot. That is of real value.

Boots were defective when I received them. One of the eyelets that the boot strings passes through was not attached to the leather of the boot. Upon inspection other eyelets were poorly seated in the leather.

Overall quality was lacking which was too bad because the boot seemed to be comfortable. I do not know how well the boot will wear over time.

only complaint, the shoe laces don't match the quality of the shoe. Too thin and cheap. I'm sure I'll have to replace them shortly
