Very disappointing

About Me Competitive Shooter
Comments about Men's 44428 Elite Discreet Carry Twill Jacket:
After just a few times wearing this with a Glock 22 the material in the concealed carry pocket ripped open at the top seam. It is a great idea, but has a poor design and construction. I hope a new version comes out with these issues fixed, but I'm returning this one. Was this product even tested? I expected a lot more from the Woolrich Elite line.

Not worth it

About Me Law Enforcement/Military
Within the first few weeks of wearing this jacket, all the stitching around the holster pocket in upper chest pocket ripped away. Jacket is now completely worthless for the purpose I bought it for - to carry my concealed weapon

Nice jacket

About Me Occasional Shooter
Full size weapons fit great, compact - not so great. I will make some adjustments to accommodate my needs. Jacket is of top notch quality and is perfect for everyday use, even if you are not carrying. I only wish the jacket came water resistant, if not water proof. Cotton becomes very heavy and loses its insulation abilities when it becomes wet. Velcro sleeves would have been nice instead of buttons; I will probably have them changed out by a tailor after this season.

Need Tall Size
By varminthunter 47

About Me Gun Collector
In this day and age people are taller and there's a need for the tall sizes. Nothing disappoints a person in cool weather than to have cool or cold wrist from the arms of a shirt or jacket that's an inch and a half to 2 inches too short.

Nice Fit
By Dr. Enigma

Jacket fits well (XL). I am a weight lifter with broad shoulders and the fit is perfect. It's a heavy jacket, but warm for cold weather. Stylish. Carry system is best with auto, not revolver.

Great quality, color, material and fit. Only wish it had better support for heavier guns. I still rate it a 10!

Really nice jacket but HEAVY. Live in San Antonio and I was hoping it would be more weather appropriate for here. Really almost too heavy for most of our weather but a keeper.

I needed a casual jacket to conceal my .38 and this does the job. Nice big inside pockets with loops to hold your firearm.

Not for me
By Red
from VA
I was sold on the look of the jacket online, and wanted a rugged, tough, and warm coat for the VA winter. I was really disappointed, as what arrived at my door looked like it belonged at a bargain store, and looked nothing like what is online. I returned it same day and am waiting to see how Woolrich honors its return policy to decide if I will return. Really bummed, as it looked cool online.

Great Jacket
By Woolrich fan

Great looking jacket. Very comfortable. Great for everyday use. Good for right or left hand conceal carry with interior chest pockets on both sides. The name of the jacket says it all "Descreet Carry". I bought this for my husband, he loves it. I like it so much and now am so tempted to buy one for myself!
really nice jacket.... recommended.

Glad I found this jacket. Replaces a dorky bright red "wind breaker" I wore when walking the dog at night. Looks great, is very comfortable, and is very discreet. Ambidextrous carry features in pockets are good for L or R-handed guys. I added short, black pull tabs to all the zippers to make them much more functional.

Very pleased when I opened the package. Great quality, good looking jacket. Immediately tried out concealed carry with a Glock 23 and was very impressed with the design. No visible signature and quite comfortable carrying fully loaded Glock 23 in the interior chest pocket. Chest pockets are on both sides so lefties and righties are covered here. Many other features including mag holders in both side pockets etc. Sweet jacket. Exactly what I was looking for! For reference I am 6'3" 240 lbs and I bought an XL. The fit is great. Highly recommend if you are looking for an alternative way to carry. I have no doubt this jacket will last many many years. A happy customer here!

Field Pack That Fits Like a Glove
By MisterJ
from Albuquerque, NM
Like a field pack it has just the right stuff. Constraint compartment or wiring harness line up the back. Great inside pockets for full concealment of any weapon. Vertical zip outside pockets with mag or flashlight constraints. When it's loaded it looks benign. Great construction and padding in a fight.

Concealed Carry Jacket
By Jack
from Golden, Colorado
I was a little disappointed to find that the liner of the Jacket I was sent was ripped just above the conceal pocket. I would hope that a company such as Woolrich had a little better Quality Control. I sent the Jacket back for a replacement.I'm sure this was a isolated incident. Least I hope so.

Very good jacket!
By Olderfart
from Jackson, MO
Use it for concealed carry and warmth. Only complaint is that buttons on cuff and waist tabs should be replaced with good velcro. When waist tab is buttoned, a loop of material protrudes from jacket. First day I wore mine, loop caught on a doorknob and tore off button. Wife replaced button. Lasted two days! Velcro would offer more adjustability to cuffs and waist and would not protrude. Otherwise, excellent jacket.

You need to make this jacket without the carry and conceal features for us noncarriers and concealers.
Excellent choice
By ScienceKit
from Norfolk, VA
This jacket easy handles my full size .45 USP, plus four extra magazines. I have broad shoulders so the extra weight is not noticeable to me. I can conceal all of that, plus a surefire, ipod, talkie, knife, gps, and it doesn't leave a single silhouette or look tactical. Love this jacket.
very nice jacket!

Best Concealed Carry Jacket Yet
By dsturdevant
from Seattle, WA
I use this product to carry my Sig P229 and can wear it without providing a detectable profile even if I'm only carrying my sidearm and no magazines on the other side to balance the garment out. It simply is not needed. It feels great and looks great even if only carrying a loaded P229. It is a bit drab and would be nice if it was offered in a few more colors and styles.

Great Jacket for the Working Man
By orbitals
from Seattle
This jacket allows you to keep warm while still having essential gear readily available without calling unnecessary attention to yourself, an ideal combination. It looks like a very inexpensive item, but anyone who has one knows that it is a well-made and very warm, comfortable coat. For the money, it's a good deal, because it has a lot of solid, convenient features and it's not flimsy. The pockets allow the user to carry gloves, flashlight, extra magazines, etc. on the side opposite to the primary weapon so that the weight balances out pretty well. Pocket design allows for quick, easy access without a lot of fumbling around - better than other designs out there.
