Comments about Men's 44426 Elite Polyester Fleece Jacket:
As a native of PA (lees than 1 mile from Woolrich PA) I have worn their clothes for years for recreation and field work and have long recognized the value of the Woolrich label. After a trip back home in November I purchased this jacket at the outlet. In a flury of field work projects I lost mine on a flight somehwhere in America. I missed it so much I purchased a SECOND jacket. It was that good! I work in many different climates and on harsh job sites. This jacket looked and functioned great. Whether I was carrying for work or off duty or just me it served me well!

Almost 5 Stars.

I am a civilian IT technician in a government agency and cannot carry while working. However, I carry frequently outside of work. My carry weapon is a Beretta 96A1 (a full sized weapon). My intention was to carry strong side on a belt (OWB). If this jacket was about 3-4 inches longer it could completely cover the barrel for a 1911 sized pistol. But I don't think Woolrich had this kind of weapon in mind. If you carry a compact or sub this would work perfectly. I plan on buying a smaller weapon anyway, so it will work. I still carry OWB with the jacket zipped or unzipped and the sheeple don't notice anyway. I like the mag holder straps sewn into each of the hand pockets. Lately it has been 25-40 F and this is warm enough for this temperature range. I'd like to see the zippers and pulls larger. I do like that the arm pit areas have airing zips. I also like that it has left and right side zip access for strong wide IWB or OWB belt carry weapon retrieval. Also, when you take it out of the dryer, these zips will need to be rezipped. Overall, a very good choice. I just bought the related parka. Hopefully the combo will work for winter. I'd say Woolrich does stand up to it's name. Recommended.

The Best So Far!!!
By Doc Cook

Despite the lack of an inside pocket. This makes an outstanding low profile fleece jacket where similar ones in the States and Europe cost 2-4 times as much. I work in Iraq and take the gear seriously, especially when I am buying it. It is also geared towards security and military purposes but also looks good walking around town.

Excellent

Can't really think of anything that would make me give this less than 5 stars. It is really comfortable, looks nice, and functions very well. Never thought I'd drop this much on a fleece but I'm glad I did.
