Let me say that I really love this turtleneck, but I can't give it five stars because there are drawbacks. It shrinks immediately; I always order a size larger because of that. And, it fades. Right away. But, once it shrinks, it fits fine, and though I'm still unhappy about the fade aspect, it's the most comfortable I have found, and the neck stays pretty true to shape. My hope is that the buyers find a better supplier for the material; I really want to buy more.

I LOVE this turtleneck because of the tight neck, it's good quality material, well made, the sleeves are cuffed, it fits well, washes well, it is warm, looks nice on and it's comfortable! Other turtlenecks are loose and sloppy around the neck, are cheaply made. This turtleneck looks great under sweaters for casual dress as well as for work with a jacket. This is the ONLY turtleneck I will buy and wear from fall until spring! They may be a little higher priced than other turtlenecks, but are well worth the money!

Just put on my ruby turtleneck this morning and just love it. The neck of the top is especially nice as it doesn't gap and look sloppy like other brands that I have purchased. The shirt is a little long for me but then as I am only 5'2" that's to be expected. I just wish there were more colors from which to choose as I'd buy several more and in fact may jist do so anyway.

These turtlenecks are perfect. A nicely tight yet not constricting neck that will keep me warm while walking my dogs or riding my horse.

I bought this turtleneck in black and in an earlier review agreed with what seems to be the consensus on the neck: tight. However, it does relax just a bit with washing. And the neck was clearly not enough of an issue to keep me from buying two more in white and ecru!

I am a tall, slim person with a suitably sized neck. I bought a large which fits in every way except that neck: it is indeed too tight. Not a lot too tight but enough to cause me to begin pulling at it after several hours wear. Re next question: I would inspect my friend's neck first!

I have worn these turtlenecks for more than 10 years and I own over 30 of them. They are the only ones I will wear. I love the tight necks...if it is cold enough to wear a turtleneck (skiing, November Football games, February soccer tournaments and March Collegiate Rowing Regattas) then I want one that will stay up and keep me warm. The reason that I return T-necks made by other companies is always droopy necks. These could be a little longer as some of them have shrunk during drying and tend to come out of my jeans when tucked in leaving me with a cold lower back.

I bought serveral of these. They are exactly what I had been searching for. Fits great. Neck holds shape and is not too loose or tight. Color is crisp. Fabric is thicker for cooler weather, but not too thick. Stitching is tight. Great quality turtleneck. Others I have tried tend to streach out as the day goes on. These don't.

I ordered 5 turtlenecks. The other 4 were superb. This one is horrible. The material is flimsy and definitely NOT 100% cotton. The label is sewn in, not printed on like the others. The cuffa are loose and stretchy, where the others are tight and springy. I don't know what happened, but there's something in the wod pile. But I don't want to return the whole order and wait some more. The color was ecru.

This is exactly the turtleneck I've been looking for! The neck doesn't droop and the sleeves are long enough to cover my wrists. Nice fabric, not too heavy to be bulky and not too thin. The neck is snug without being constricting and I prefer a banded sleeve over hemmed. I'll be purchasing more colors!
