Nice But Run Small

I always have a hard time with socks that are too long. I have small, wide feet. I thought a medium would be perfect but they are tight and hard to pull up. I'll just wear them as compresion socks when I know I'll be on my feet all day to keep the swelling down. The quality looks good and hope they stretch a little in the wash. I just won't put them in the dryer.

wool stretch knee high socks

Purchased in the hope they would keep my feet warm as they are wool, but they are very lightweight and not any better than synethetic or heavier cotton knee highs.

I have been looking for women's socks that don't ride down the calf or bunch up under the foot causing discomfort. Woolrich has them in this product. I was so pleased with the first 2 pair, that I ordered another 3 pair.

Disappointed - I ordered a medium for my 7.5 shoe size foot. It's a very tight fit both on sole and in calf circumference. [*] I'm hoping they will stretch, but I advise ordering a size up and if you have a big feet, forget it.
Comfortable socks

I needed a lightweight wool sock for these cool nights and sometimes warm days. These socks are comfortable all day and do not bind at the knee as some knee-hi socks do. I would like the toe material to be a bit thicker, though.
