I really wanted to like this shirt but the collar lays strangely on me and the overall fit wasn't flattering or comfy. According to the sizing chart I'm a SM but SM felt constrictive with too short sleeves and the MED body felt too loose to wear comfortably under a coat. I'm just shy of 5'4", about 140 lbs, small-breasted but wide shouldered, relatively proportional overall.

I had bought this in green earlier this year. I wore it a lot this fall, so decided I needed another one. It is a great for spring & fall -- when you need to have layrers. The collar is one of the best features, keeps the neck warm on a cold day.

This garment feels big on the inside and slim on the outside. It has flattering seams and darts that simulate a slender shape but the smooth insulate lining makes it easy to slip on over shirts or sweaters. i expect it will become a spring and fall staple.

These are great jackets - flattering cut and fit, nice soft fabric, warm without being bulky. I bought this in the Cinnamon color last year and came back for another this year. I use this for casual-nice wear and outdoors rugged wear, and it's the perfect weight, look and packability for traveling, too. I also really like the high collar for that extra bit of warmth without having to pack a scarf. Can you tell I really like these jackets? The only drawback is no lower pockets to put your hands in. Of course, that keeps the line and fit looking better, though.

This is a very figure flattering and well constructed shirt jac. The quilted lining gives is a nice structure and it's not boxy but follows your curves. The snap front is a detail, more unique than just plain buttons. I recommend this for anyone who is sporty yet feminine.

Unfortunately, the fit wasn't what I thought so I returned the coat. It really is nice-looking but I guess we can't win them all.

Quality and color deserves a "5," but lack of pockets- really limits use and inconvenient for me. Like picture-pairs well with thinsulate vest over it and room for 1-2 layers underneath. I like the mandarin collar-dresses it up for casual wear and neck warmth. If looking for real warmth and heavier use- choose another shirt jac. Hangs in my closet paired with coordinated items rather than on coat rack as a go-to item.

While the material is of good quality and the color is true to the picture, what kept me from keeping this jacket was the collar not laying flat. It just felt uncomfortable standing under my chin.

I like the "idea" of this shirt jac. After all, it is very hard to find shirt jacs for women, especially ones that have thinsulate in them and don't make you look like a lumberjack. However, the insulation in this shirt is extremely thin which makes it not much warmer than your average sweatshirt. The lack of hand pockets is a bummer too. The body of the shirt is boxy while the sleeves are too short. I followed the care instructions, but after one washing the sleeves shrunk even shorter. But what bothers me most is that the front snaps are spaced unusually far apart, which makes the material in between them gape open unflatteringly.

I love the cut and the material, but it definitely runs small. I usually wear between a med and a large. I ordered a large but it feels more like a medium.

I think I love shirt jacs more than any other piece of clothing and Woolrich makes them like I remember them. This one is pure comfort; makes me want to live in it. It is soft, soft, soft, and so cozy; also warm and I'm able to move easily. I do wear between a medium and large but sized up to the large for moveablity. The medium would have fit well but it might have been tough to layer. I definitely welcome cool weather with this in my closet.
