The jacket runs a little small, did exchange for the next size and it fits nicely. I do like to wear my clothes a bit on the loose side. Very happy with the quality and the color. I did wear the jacket over a 3/4 sleeve T and it fit nicely. My arms are a bit short so I rolled the sleeves. Did receive alot of compliments. Nice layering or by itself.

I use this jacket almost everyday as a thin layer inside during cooler months. Also as an additional layer under a windbreaker outside.The armholes are a little high for layering underneath and the jacket a little too fitted for the mature figure. I solved both problems by ordering a larger size. The tupelo jacket is a full size smaller than the previous tupelo shirt. However, I love this soft microfleece fabric and the slightly longer length! Worn alone, it doesn't look so much like a trail garment and looks neater for running errands. After reading other reviews, I was concerned about the back elastic but it only gathers about an inch.

After reading the other comments that mentioned that the fleece was lightweight, I ordered the next largest size thinking that I would layer it over a shirt and warm vest. To this end it is perfect. The color Dark Bluebell is beautiful....one of my favorite shades of blue.
I recommend this coat if you're looking for comfort and a "go to" jacket.

I bought this fleece because of the unique gathering at the neck and waist. When I received
it the softness and fit quickly became the one of my most worn fleeces. I am a bicyclist and took it on a 400 mile trip for the cool nights in the summer, it worked perfect as a light jacket in Florida and it's weight is great the pack in my oversized tote and carry on luggage. it was wonderful in the fall over a variety of tee and tanks. Now that it's winter, I will be putting it to use both in doors, the keep the chill off, and under my winter layers to keep me toasty warm. I am thinking I need to buy another,after all how long can it last.....I guess I'll find out.

This is NOT a heavy, cold-weather jacket. This is similar to a layering shirt to be worn over a turtleneck or shirt. Good for brisk fall days or chilly spring mornings.

I am sorry to say that I was not impressed with this item. The fabric was too thin and it was too small for a medium size. It could have been worn more as a "shirt" than a jacket. Didn't want to try it in a larger size because of the fabric's weight.

I love the color and the styling. The sleeves are a little long, which is ok. I normally wear a medium but ordered a large because of the fitted cut and it is fine, so I would say it runs a little small. It is a lightweight fleece, so it's best for just a little cover, not for much warmth.

Read all of the reviews and knew this would be a thinner fabric, much more like a shirt than a jacket. In fact the fabric was a great dissappointment in that it was EXTREMELY thin and appeared to be of poor quality. Not sure it would hold up well after a few wearings. Color was nice, but cut was snug.

I use as a shirt on cool mornings and as a jacket at work. Very light weight, soft and warm. Stitching is well done and collar lays down nicely. Fit is flattering. I like the sleeves being long and close fitting. It feels good when I am chilly.

I returned this jacket. Although the color was beautiful, the gathers in back created bulk to the rear and a very unflattering fit in front. Also, it was too long and the fabric was too thin.

Not at all what ail what it seemed in the photo. Very thin material. Ordered a size large which it was tagged to be, but was more like medium. Material was ultra thin and not the fluffy fleece the photo seemed to suggest.

Very disappointed. The product offering this year was very much below what I used to expect from Woolrich.

I am always cold but am at the age when I get hot flashes and I also live where the sun can be warm. I have been looking for a warm turtleneck with a neck zipper so I can unzip whenever I get too warm and then zip back up when I get cold again (often within minutes of each other, over and over again). The elastic gather on the back of the neck also keeps the turtleneck close to the back of the neck where I feel cold if air gets down there. It is the best. This has a nice high, not too tight, zipped turtle neck. It is perfect and for the first time I can be as warm or as cool as I want with the zipped neck. I do not need to take off a whole turtleneck when I get too warm. I hike a lot and carry water, a camera, and hold a dog leash, so taking off a turtleneck is too cumbersome. I bought EIGHT of these after I tried the first one, and wear one every day. I hope that next year they offer this in more colors.

This jacket's longer length makes it super comfortable. Even if you wear a skimpy shirt underneath your middle stays covered and warm. It looks a little dressier than lots of fleece jackets. It has quickly become my favorite! The sizing makes it very form fitting, however. I returned mine for the next larger size to get a little more roominess. So if you're looking for body conscious contours, order your regular size. But if you want comfortable roominess go up one size.
