I bought this skirt for a trip this summer. It is nice to have a basic skirt that can be worn during the day or dressed up a little bit for dinner. This will work quite well. Nice hidden pockets too.

Looking to update my travel wardrobe

I was looking to update my travel wardrobe as all my skirts are long, so I have been wearing pants. I wear an XL and with this skirt the 18 was a perfect fit, with some room to lose some weight and still be able to wear this skirt. I have a square build and am 5'4" tall, so the fact that this skirt is an aline works in my favor. Add to the fact that i have hit senior status. Ouch, It is also the perfect length for me and falls just below my knee and has enough stretch for it to be comfortable. I ordered this skirt in both khaki and black. One of the comments I read before ordering, said that the khaki was a little yellow--true--but will still go with everything as it is a neutral color.

Just received this skirt in the mail and tried it on. I love the flattering lines of the skirt. It is just the right length. I am between 50 and 60 and I don't do very short skirts, but this is perfect, just to the knee. The khaki goes with almost everything in my wardrobe. I can see this becoming a favorite for me.

I am 5'3" and XL. The skirt is comfortable and true to size. But the fit would be more graceful with a small sewn tuck on each side of the waist, another two inches in length, and a slightly curved-in bell shape in the cut of the last 6 inches in length instead of being cut to a stiff-looking, straight A-line shape. Also I am not fond of the khaki color that tends towards yellow; I find khaki-grey or khaki-blue are better compliments to a colored shirt.
