I did not expect this to be as classy looking as it is. The color Herringbone is rather muted and paired well with a subtle plaid on white shirt. A large fit my 6'2 190 lb husband perfectly. I would order this on grey also but it's sold out for now.

I have been looking for a vest all season and was just not satisfied with anything I was finding at other retail stores. My thought was "the Woolrich store will have just what I am looking for". I was fortunate enough to visit the last Woolrich Outlet site left in the country which I have been a customer of for years. They had this vest in my favorite color of red plaid and even though it is a men's model/style, it fits perfect and has the syle I like. I guarantee, I'll have it for years to enjoy.

Purchased in Herringbone color,it is understated and goes looks well with even a subtle plaid shirt. My husband is 6'2", 200 lbs. A large was a perfect fit. I did not expect to like this but it looks great on him. It's cool with a corduroy jacket over it. Nice!

I bought this for my husband who is a big man. Fit is good. I really wanted a different color - the one that was in the catalogue (gray & black ticking)but it was not available in XXL. Best of all -he likes it!

I love the vest. I found the quality of the ribbing around the seams to be less than that expected from a company with Woolrich's reputation. The vest looks great - but the material is rather stiff when zipped - not pliable.

I use this vest for warmth during mid-Atlantic winters. I like the classic look. Yes, there are upgrades but retained the look of the ones of years ago. The zipper is OK but I wish there were a button-up version.

The vest is comfortable, fits well, and is flattering to wear. It has a casual air to it that oozes confident elegance. It looks equally well under a sport coat or over denim. I wear it to work and social affairs high and low.
The only knock is that I wish the zipper pull were smaller or lied flat more easily. Having it stick out at the top detracts just slightly from the overall look.

Where the big point was this vest was to carry the railroad pocket watch, this current version does not includ anyplace to attach a watch chain now. I CARRY railroad pocket watches, and due to the fact there's no place to put a T bar or spring ring from a chain for my railroad watch, I rarely wear the vest in the set up it was made for....railroad watches. Pretty ironic!

I was looking for a vest to "fit" into our Oklahoma weather, in other words, one that was stylish, yet light weight enough for our cool Oklahoma days in the winter. Twelve years ago I worked with some boat builders on a 137 ft 3 masted schooner. Two of the shipwrights had this vest. I purchased one and have worn it in layers, while working outdoors. It very durable and yet light enough to be comfortable and warm. It is also very good looking for casual wear.

The Vest was a gift and the recipient loved it! The vest is a great match to wear with a white shirt and jeans or a more dressed up look with dress pants and jacket. The wool is washable which is very appealing and the quality construction will surely make this a vest to be worn for many years to come. The two upper pockets are great for holding glasses or cell phone. The two lower pockets with snaps are a bit shallow but good for holding keys or loose change. The first time worn the number of compliments were amazing with may inquiries of where it was purchased......will have to order another in another color.

The vest is used in a work shop situation in an old mill building where the heat is kept low in the winter. Works well for layering, is durable and small pockets work well to hold pencils and measuring devices. Wonderful product.

a shame you renamed it and used cheaper materials and added the woolrich name tag. Formerly a fine product, which i bought 8 years ago and still weaqr every day. Gettin a bit tacky & worn now, but what the hell.

I like this vest enough that I bought it in three colors. Wear them often from Oct - Apr. Good look, versatile, and warm. I wear them around the house, under my motorcycle gear and with my sport coat when I go out on the town. Looks great and feels great.

Have had vest for short time but know I will probably buy another. These vests are great for layering while hunting,fishing, or just hangin. Lightweight and warm with classic style. A bit bigger sized pockets would be nice when wearing alone.
