Exactly what I expected from Woolrich

Waistband

Waist band was not as generous as I expected. It has two buttons that can make it smaller like on the back of a denim jacket. (Not stretch material) Unfortunately it was in it's "most open" waist size already and a little tight at the bottom. I am not a real large guy maybe a few xtra winter lbs. The jacket fit perfectly everywhere else, but tight at bottom which made it "potbelly" out in the front when zipped. I am usually a large in coats and shirts etc. When i tried the xl that was too big and long in the sleeves. Also be aware the color is not as light blue as pic. Seems near a darker navy. Also i would say it is more realistically 2 -3 steps up from a heavy wool/quilted shirt than a heavy jacket. You would wear in my opinion on fair/not windy or chilly days.

Nice, except for one thing

This jacket was supposed to be a birthday gift for my husband. I liked the softness, color and the casual but versatile styling, which would have been perfect for what he needed, for work or leisure. There was only one issue, and that was the pockets. They simply were not aligned evenly on both sides. I wanted to exchange it for another one of the same size and color, but it was all sold out. I sadly returned the item for a refund.

Nice Jacket

Here in the Northeast, this jacket is just perfect for those many winter days that are not bitter cold enough to pull out the down puff jacket. My husband likes it because it is not too heavy or bulky but cuts the wind better than his fleece jacket. He wears it when the temps are between 25 & 45. Very nice looking jacket. Fabric has a nice drape and a surprisingly soft hand. The only negative thing he has to say is that the sleeves should be lined in something slippery, rather than in the soft wool that lines the body. But it's a minor inconvenience. All around, very happy with this jacket and it has already seen much use.

Phenominal!

This jacket is worn on a daily basis. The only draw back that I can see is that I think it would be even better with a zip out quilted, fleece or some other lightweight lining to make it just a little more comfortable in cold Minnesota weather. I wouldn't add any lining to the sleeves though--just the core of the body. Very happy with the product and did receive exactly what we expected from description. Thanks Woolrich!

This is a great casual jacket for winter weather the way we have Winter in North Carolina.(a little bit at a time and when a heavy coat or jacket is too much). Plus it is easy to wear in the car.

What A Jacket!

I have never bought a more comfortable and great fitting jacket. It's not bulky at all, but there is room for layering underneath. I'm sure this jacket is geared more towards fall/spring, but if you throw a hoodie or a heavy flannel under it (maybe an oxbow) I can see this working as a winter coat as well. Very well made and I get comments on it all the time. I got it in the deep navy color. I would recommend this to anyone. Thank you Woolrich!
