Disappointing

Having been very pleased with Woolrich's products before, I was looking forward to wearing this sweater. But I have to say I was very disappointed when I tried it on. The neck is way to small for the size, while the waist is too large and loose - it looks like I'm wearing a sack rather than a sweater. I washed it, hoping that by shrinking it it would fit better, but no luck.

No Elastic Cuffs

All previous sweaters I owned had some type of ribbed elasticized sleeve ends. These sleeves are ribbed but not elasticized.I have 32 inch sleeves and the sleeves of this sweater keep slipping down over my hands......like the elastic has been permanently stretched out. I can push them back up, but they just come down again. I have two choices: find my scissors, or fold the ends into cuffs. Many sweaters I see today look like the sweaters I used to see in thrift store windows.....garish designs and uncoordinated ugly colors. This sweater looks good and that's why I bought it. I guess I'll keep it because I lost weight and need something right now that fits. All my other sweaters are way too big.

What a wonderful garment I just loved it until it shrunk :( Only got to wear it twice too.Just pulled it out of the washer and it's now a perfect size for a child. Not sure what happened, I'm so disappointed so BE CAREFUL. I loved it so much I WILL buy another one and will NEVER put it in the machine.Please don't let me talk anyone out of buying one of these they are awesome. Just be careful with it and enjoy!

Nice style, odd texture

I agree with other reviews that thought the material was bit strange. It does feel rather fleecy. However, as someone who wears a lot of 100% wool sweaters, I don't find it particularly scratchy. It is warm yet lightweight. I'm a woman and ordered a small. it was a bit wider in the shoulders than I expected. The overall width of the the body and the length of the body and sleeves are perfect. I ordered the Deep Ruby Heather, and the color is great -- less pink and more burgundy than it looks on the website.

I think they went a little too heavy on the nylon. It doesn't feel like lambswool at all.

Sorta Fleece like

It seemed kinda fleece like and started showing signs of wear FAST. (Like after 8 hours of wear) The other sweater I got was great.

wish they made it in a womans size
