Bought this shirt on line and I was worried about the appearance. It's difficult to evaluate the fabric look and feel, and the colors. I was pleased with the shipping and packaging. The shirt looked exactly like the pictures on line and the fabric is very high quality and feels comfortable. It fits me well, the larger sizes are actually large. I plan to wear it as a transitional weather shirt. It's heavy enough to provide some warmth yet light enough to wear more than one season. I'm pleased.

Very nice shirt not too heavy and yet so comfy. Looks really nice for whatever casual occasion.
Wear large in most shirt brands but medium is perfect in Woolrich shirts.

A very comfortable shirt that looks good enough to wear to work. Woolrich can't be beat for flannel shirts!

Color noticeabl;y darker than it looks online but that makes it look a bit dressier.

I tried this shirt as you sold out of my size and colors in the heavyweight Oxbow flannels and I'm glad I ordered it

Very comfortable and great fit. Unlike some of the Woolrich shirts made in China which seem to run small. Great fabric if you're looking for a lightweight flannel.

I purchased this product because of the color pattern... plaids can tend to be a little gaudy or lacking "subtlety," making them difficult to coordinate with anything else, but this "Men's Pioneer Plaid Flannel Shirt in SHALE" is a winner. The relatively subtle coloration goes with anything from solid black to neutrals like khaki, warm greys, even oatmeal. The weight is just right, warm but not heavy or bulky. I expect it will gain softness with repeated washings. The on-line photo is fairly accurate... but the contrast between the lights and darks in the pattern is not as contrasty as the photo appears... and that was a big plus for me : )

Great shirt. I wear it regularly on weekends. Reminds me of my now 8 year old yellow lab in that its always up to the task and never complains. Great for working in the yard, doing a household project, running errands or lounging on the couch on a lazy Sunday afternoon.

I was very diappointed with the quality. Woolrich has alaways, in my eyes, been a provider of exceptionally good quality items. Both shirts that I ordered were made in China for Asians. The fit and the quality do not live up to the Woolrich brand.

Wear it for all casual occasions, especially when active outside the house. Plenty of room, comfortable as can be and blends well wih most of my outerwear. Nothing bad about it.

This is definitely a top quality flannel. It doesn't even compare with others I looked at as far as quality and comfort. My son is 6'2" however and though the XL fit him well it could have been a bit longer. A Tall option would have been perfect. Still his favorite shirt!

Well, after returning two flannel shirts to their "high end" stores because they were cheaply made and didn't fit right, I tried Woolrich. My husband says it is the best fitting shirt he ever had. He is tall and slim and most shirts are too short in the sleeves and too baggy in the torso. This is well made, but we will be careful in washing as not to lose any of great fit.

I really liked the look of this shirt in the catalog and when I took it out of the box, but after I washed it the collar just layed flat and the material around the buttons didn't. It's kind of a sloppy look now. Admittedly a minor complaint for a flannel shirt.

It really is the perfect shirt. It's not to heavy or to light. You really can wear it as a jacket in our mild weather. The fabric is very soft and feels good against your skin. It washes nice and looks new each time I press it lightly.
