Long-Sleeve Shirts

Had previously owned a chamois shirt and was hard pressed to find a replacement until I found the Woolrich website. Glad I ordered this most comfortable shirt.

I thought this was a nice shirt. I received it as a gift from the holidays

Great for cold mornings. These shirts are a seasonal "must have" for my husband as he gets up early to go to work and needs something warm straight away.These shirts wash and wear quite well.

I have been wearing expedition chamois shirts for 30 plus years. I wear them as they were intended to be used. I work in the hardwood lumber business in the outdoors in central Pennsylvania-the birthplace of Woolrich, and the reason they got started. My wife got me a new chamois shirt for xmas-I am returning it. It is NOT a Woolrich expedition shirt as sold, it is of quality I could get at a big box discount store. I am dissappointed, I am probably the 3rd generation in my family to swear by Woolrich. My son is a logger who wears the same. My sons and I will finish wearing out our good old Woolrich shirts and look for better elsewhere. By the way I have 4 grown sons so you just lost 5 good customers. I usually kept at least 15 Woolrich chamois shirts alone in rotation in my closet. What a shame to see a good brand that started all about supplying men who worked in the outdoors cave in to the beancounters who are slowly ruining so many good brands.

Great shirt -- but the L size is too big. I got another Woolrich shirt in large & it fits fine.

Very disappointing fabric. More like FAUX Chamois- Not enough fuzz to cover the threads. The fabric was thinner than the old Woolrich Chamois shirts I was trying to replace. I sent both shirts back- they were not worth keeping. What happened to Woolrich quality?

My catalog offered a discount if you could scan the icon with a smart phone. However, I don't have a smart phone but discovered later that it was a 10% discount. I feel cheated of the 10% on my purchase. It doesn't seem fair for us older folks who probably buy your products more than the younger ones. Please give me that 10% discount now for my recent purchase. Just send a credit to my credit card acct. I would really appreciate that! The shirt I bought for a friend is of excellent quality and fits perfectly, the color is just right, has soft touchable fabric and washes and dries without wrinkles and without attracting stray lint. I will most likely buy from you in the future.

This was my first order with Woolrich and I was extremely satisfied with the product and service.I rarely buy on-line because of the return issue's but it looked so good I thought I would give it a shot. The Expedition Chamois Shirt was much better quality then I expected! If I saw this locally in a retail store , I would have paid twice! This is the best $65 I've ever spent on clothing. Now that I know I'm getting quality Chamois Shirt's, I'm going to start collecting the remainder of the color's they offer. You won't be disappointed!

I remember having quality Chamois Shirt's like these when I was a kid (35 yr's ago). I don't see them in the big retail stores or Mall's anymore and if you do find anything close, it's junk after a few washes! I found these on-line and bought just one,to see if they were as good as they looked and they were exactly what I wanted and the way I remember them,"Bullet-Proof"!The quality,the thick warm feel, the fit and the smell brought back some great memory's.I'm saving up so I can buy the rest of the color's!

I used to buy Woolrich all the time for my longtime outdoor clothing. Now I can't find decent chamois shirts any longer. They feel flimsy. And the leather or heavy twill jackets are gone. Sorry to see you gone. I visit the States 3 to 4 times per year, enough time to shop around but i think Woolrich is over and out. Too bad.

Dear Woolrich,
I have been wearing your expidition chamois shirts cosistantly since 1978 for casual and work wear on most days when temperatures are cool to cold. It's my everyday shirt. I keep two or three colors in rotation. Newer shirts are for casual dress and sporting activities. Older shirts get to go to work and are at risk for more abuse. Very old shirts get used if it is cool and if I happen to be painting the house. These shirts last forever. I like how soft and durable they are. The fabric is thick and warm. I always have one with me as my backup for when the sun goes down.
I recently ordered a new expidition chamois shirt for the fall. However, I was greatly disappointed when it arrived; like I have never been before. First, these shirts used to be professionaly folded, pinned and had cardboard in the collar and plactic on the top button. A great, proud presentation. The new one arrived shockingly flat. The fabric was not even 30% as thick as it used to be. The fabic appeared to be thin to where you could see the weave with some cotton fuss woven in to make it pass off as a chamois. The body and sleeves were shorter than the shirts that I have. I will pay any reasonable price for a quality product that will last and endure. How could you not recognize the how poorly these shirts are now made. Made in China? Come on Woolrich! Not at that price and not at any price for the poor quality. It cost alot of money for shipping and returning the product which is even more insulting.
Now, I will have to wait to see your product in a store, if I can ever find one, to judge any improvements of quality in the future before buying. Your contract manager/buyer and quality inspectors should be fired!
I sincerely hope that Woolrich will make the necessary improvements that will enable the company to live up to their respected history.

This is my third purchase of this shirt. I didn't really need it but I bought it just in case it somehow vanished from the market...that would be a tragedy.

Explorer shirt has lost a noticeable amount of "heftiness" from shirts purchased just two years back; material wrinkles a lot easier, etc.

Love my flannel and chamois shirts, and could not find decent ones at the stores locally. Am very happy with the style, color, fit and quality of my new shirt.

I can wear this to work on cold days, and my movements won't be restricted. The Chamois material is thick and soft. Will think about getting one in another color. Can't wait till I've washed it 15 times, then it will really be soft.

This shirt is advertised as Chamois and "maybe" it is, but certainly not the chamois that most of us think of when we want a REAL chamois shirt. I want soft and comfortable, not just cotton.

This seems to be a decent successor to the 6275. Feels warm, no lint prob as mentioned elsewhere. But I preferred the slightly but *noticeably* heavier cloth on the 6275! Please bring it back!

I've been wearing this type of Woolworth shirt for over 25 years, and today's product is better than ever. The pockets are great. The sleeves have adjustable cuffs and roll up nicely.
