Comments about Men's Backpacker Shorts:
I'm an old guy. I like the length of my shorts to be shorter than the current fashion for men's shorts. So I have to have these shorts taken up at a tailor shop. The good thing is that these new shorts are made with heavier material and last longer than the ones I first bought in the early 1970's from Woolrich. I appreciate the new durability because I'm pretty hard on pants. I wear shorts daily in the summer for all kinds of reasons from yard work to going out to dinner. Because the newer shorts are better made, lots of washings don't make them look beat-up.

Do not like the back pockets that go across your whole rear end. Would be more more likely to buy if the back pocket were patch pockets with velcro and the legs were an inch longer

I do backpack, and it's hard to get shorts that do well for this. I usually backpack with a large belt and holster/pistol, and the ordinary shorts aren't designed for this activity. These shorts are great for casual wear and backpacking especially if you concealed carry like I do. Very comfortable. Haven't even had any chafing to date.

I bought these for my husband for father's day. Great pair of shorts except for the length. 9 inches is just a bit too long for his liking. 7 inches would make them perfect.

last year I purchased a pair of Woolrich shorts no. S- 3007. I had hoped to buy two more pairs of this item, but your web site denied this number. They were very superior to the shorts I bought recently - the pocket placement was more convenient, and they did not use Velcro for closure. I would hope that you will reinstall no. S-3007 in your product line.

Nice shorts but not the velcro pockets

perfect shorts... would have kept them but I've had shorts with velcro back pockets and never liked them. Give me buttons anytime! Returned these for the field shorts which have buttons.
