Comments about Men's Denim Button-Down Shirt:
I bought this as a Christmas gift for my husband. We both like the color and weight and it fit well. It has only been washed once so far, but washed nicely. Not many wrinkles out of the dryer. It is a well made shirt.

About Me Classic
Years ago Woolrich made a quality product but today the products are made in China are VERY POOR quality.Even their customer service is lacking quality. I won't shop here again. Much better off with LL BEAN or Orvis!!

The fabric just didn't have the feel of denim I've come to expect. We returned this shirt.

color not accurate
By Oscar
from CA
The shirt appears to be a light blue in the catalog and on line. After waiting 15 days for the item to arrive with standard shipping, the shirt is as dark as a pair of levi jeans. Item went back.

you ruined a great thing
By RLR
from Narberth PA
My wife wears a medium mens denim shirt as a jacket around the house as it gets chilly. She put it on this weekend and it reminded me that I needed a new denim shirt. Before I ordered I went to my closet to be sure I ordered the correct size and found the Woolrich denim shirt I got last year and never wore. I am looking at my shirt compared to my wife's shirt and cannot believe that you changed this shirt so much.My wife's shirt is heavy, soft and a great color. Mine is light weight and has absolutely no character. Now I remember why I never wore the thing. The labels are nice.I will gladly pay more, but I want a nice shirt

Why???
By Jim in Pa
from Reading Pa
The old classic workshirt #4092 has been my favorite shirt for years and has become a staple Christmas gift to me every year for a long time...this years shirt is no where close in quality to what I have come to expect from Woolrich! Very dissapointed in every aspect to this "inferior" version of what I've been accustomed to.

I Still want the old denim shirt back
By spyder
from ct.
Please allow me to double dip. I am wearing a new woolrich denim shirt. I am sure it is a fine shirt or you would not be selling it. I know that your Co. has been around forever because you stuck to your core values. It is not however the Woolrich denim shirt that I have worn for many years. It is lighter wight. Many companies make lightweight denim shirts but I have bought Woolrich because it is heavier. I have never written to a Co. before, but I am asking you to bring back my old shirt. Much of your loyal customer base are guys like me that don't twitter or text or Email much. They may not tell you that they are unhappy that you droped the old denim shirt. You will loose them as you will loose me if you don't bring it back. I know that costs have risen, especially cotton. If it costs more to produce,I will pay more to buy it. I will wear the llightweight shirt for summer, it's fine, but I still want the heavier shirt. I am sure that many of your other loyal customers feel the same way. Thanks

Strange fit
By New Yorker

Loved the style of this shirt. The fit was very strange. The sleeves and body were too short. We were hoping tall sizing would be available. Had to return this item.

I bought this as a gift. It seems like a very good quality shirt; nice, heavy material.

Not as good as the Denver Denim shirt
By JBT
from Long Valley, NJ
Over the past 3 years I've worn out perhaps a half dozen of the Woolrich Denver Denim shirts because they were comfortable, fit me well, and I wore them all the time. This year I go to order them and that product has been discontinued. The replacement is a much lighter weight fabric, much darker in color (not Boulder Washed), and at least 2" shorter in the body than the previous Denver Denim shirt. Both of the shirts I just bought will be going back. May exchange for the still available SS Denver Denim shirt which appears to be the same design, fabric, color as my favorite LS Denver Denim shirts.

Don't expect the quality of 10 yrs ago!
By Midwest Gardener

This shirt was not what I expected. I guess I looked for better quality from Woolrich. I was replacing an older denim shirt and this one missed the mark. Way to light and insubstantial.

Not What Was Expected
By Roberto
from Austin TX
I was told this shirt is the "replacement" for Woolrich's traditional denim work shirt (4092 I think) that I have loved for many years. It is an inferior shirt. If you hold the fabric up to a window, light is visible through it. The tail of the shirt is three inches shorter (XL size) than the shirt it replaced, as I measured. As a result, if you actually work in the shirt it will not possibly stay tucked in, at least for a 6' person. Almost feels like a cheap overseas-made product. Too bad the great original is gone.
