This jacket has the perfect khaki color and has a classic look that will go well with casual dress. The pockets are located in the right places and the collar can be turned up and secured with a button on days that are very windy. The waist has a drawstring that can be secured. There are two interior pockets that are well placed and will easily hold items that need to be secured. I plan on using this jacket as a main travel jacket that can be us on cooler days or can be used over a sweater when cooler to cold temperatures prevail. In summary, a great value as one would expect from Woolrich.

This is a nice light jacket. It's a cross between a field jacket and a fatigue shirt. It has a drawstring, to make it fit closer in the midsection, but it doesn't have a liner. It has 2 inside pockets, which is a nice addition. The front breast pockets are slightly slanted, but nowhere near like a Vietnam-era fatigue shirt.

My only complaint is with the color. Based on the picture, I was expecting olive-drab green. That is not what this garment is. It's has a bluish hue, somewhat like a modern military flightsuit. I don't think knowing that would have discouraged me from buying it, but it would have been nice to know. It may be a deal-breaker to some.

The catalog listed item as light olive but actually it was dark olive. I returned it.

This jacket in the olive color is a ringer for the jungle fatigue jacket worn in Vietnam except for the upper pockets which do not have the same slant. It should have a pair of matching pants in the exact same color to match.

Jacket is just what I was looking for. Perfect to
wear over a L/S shirt and possible a sweater and moore if needed, or less. jacket came in a box folded, and futher protected by being in a plastic bag.

I decided on this jacket after looking at many others on line. Many more expensive jackets got bad reviews with improper sizing being a common concern. The sizing of this jacket seems right on. The Woolrich jacket seems well made for the price. I like the fact that it has no mesh lining as I have found the mesh easily tears. I also like the underarm venting system on this jacket. Overall, a very good value for the money.

This is a great jacket, very much like the one issued by the military during the early 70's. The material is durable and the weight of the jacket is good for casual wear or work. This is a good three seasons coat, and a great car coat. For cooler or cold weather, you'll have to layer under it for warmth.

I am returning the Refuge Jacket. Tha fabric is too shiney. --not "broken-in"..or draping well.
The jacket seems too "stiff" when I try it on?
The front pockets do not have a side-hand space to insert ones hands...you have to unbutton the flap to put your hand in.
The fabric was the primary reason for return, and the "floppy" collar!

Bought "off the rack" at a small shop on the harborfront in Halifax, after I saw the Woolrich tag (always had good luck with this logo's quality in past purchases).

Perfect garment for driving top down on cool coastal summer nights. I especially like the flip up and stay up collar.

Only the addition of a left shoulder pocket could make this favorite jacket even better.
